Keys to good arrangement:

1. Use an arrangement that is consistent with instructional goals and activities
2. Keep high-traffic areas free of congestion
3. Be sure students can see “up front”
4. Keep frequently used material readily accessible
5. Be sure students can see each other

- Daily schedule
- Calendar
- Emergency escape information
- Decorations
- Reminders
Floor:
- Where to conduct whole-class instruction
- Where will the teacher stand to address the class?
- Desks vs. tables- how they will be arranged
