Chapter 1.

SCOPE & COST OF WORKS

8.1. Area, Scope & Cost of Works


Our Prices for Manufacturing and Installation of the Steel Buildings EXCLUSIVE
of all taxes are given below:

8.2. Seller Scope of work


1. Unloading and storing of all supplied materials at work site.
2. Supply of skilled man power.
3. Supply of tools and equipment for erection works.
4. Erection of the entire steel structure
5. Supply and laying of floor.

8.3. Buyer Scope of work


1. All Civil works and supply of required materials are in buyer scope.
2. To protect material stored at site against fire, weather, theft, misuse, or any other act of
vandalism.
3. Provide adequate Electricity free of cost (3 Phase, 50Hz power supply / DG) at
proximity to Building Location.
4. Supply water for general use and for drinking purpose of the erection crew at site.
5. Labor accommodation near the site free of cost.

8.4.Terms:
1. The above rates are including steel materials, fixing accessories, tools and tackles,
erection materials, Fasteners (bolt & nut), paint & Labor Charges.
2. This offer is based on the present prevailing raw material prices and tax Structures,
Any variations in the above will impact the price and the revision should be accepted
by the client. (Valid up to 15 days from the date of offer).
3. Clearing and /or repainting of steel due to prolonged open storage beyond two weeks
is excluded from Seller Scope.
4. Any deviation from above standard erection conditions shall be subject to price & time
review. Any changes during the progress of erection should be communicated to us in
writing through a change order.
5. Seller reserves the right to subcontract part or its entire erection contract to qualified
registered Contractors with ESI, PF and Services Tax registration.
6. In the event of stoppage of erection work at the site by the Customer, demobilization
& remobilization charges will be levied.

8.5. Delivery Schedule


The timeline for the project is as given below.

Note: Delay due to reasons beyond our control like continuous rain at site / civil clearance
/ payment delay / drawing approval delay etc. will be accounted extra. Drawing approval to
be given within one week of submission and civil clearance should be given within 2 weeks
of awarding of the works. Payment against running bills shall be made within one week of
submission.

8.6. Terms of Payment:

50% of the contract value as token advance along with the order.
50% of the total contract value on supply of materials at site on pro rata basis.

8.7. Force Majeure

Alchemy Engineers & Consultants shall not be held accountable for delays in
material despatch or delivery resulting from circumstances outside its control such as strikes,
acts of war, revolution, riot or civil disturbance, trade sanction or restrictions, occurrences of
calamities of meteorological or geophysical nature etc. to the extent that these affect
transport, steel, its suppliers and its sub-contractors.
