PREFACE

First of all , thanks to allah swt because of help of allah, writer finished wraiting the peaper entitled
“the use of methaphore” right in the calculated time.

The purpose in writing this paper is to fulfill the assignment that given by our grup as lecturer in
samantics major.

In arranging this paper, the writer trully get lots challenges and obstructions but with help of many
individuals, those obstruption could passed. Writer also realized there are still helps in the process of
writing this paper still in perfect in arrangment and the content.

Than the writer hopethe criticism from the readers can help the writer in perfacting the next paper.
Last but not least hopefully, this paper can helps the readers to gain more knowledge about

CHAPTER 1

Preliminary

During the last decade ,various sectors of the health care enterprise have taken a converging
interest in determining the safety,effectiveness,cost –effectivenes,and social,ethical,and legal impact
of health care technologies.Each of these sectors-physicians and other health professionals,patients
and other consumers,biomedical researchers,health product makers,third party payers,health plan
Managers,institutional administrators,academicians,public policy makers,and others-thends to rely
on some famuliar,though different,set of literature and information sources in an attempt to meet
assement needs.

Althought more of the health care community has taken explicit interest in medical technology
assement,there remain inadequacies in the supply of good assesment information and the manner
in which existing information is organized and made available to those who need it.l have learned as
a committee member for the institute of Medicine study assesing medical technologies and from
the perspective of a health care prayer that the demand for assesment information is outstripping
the aggregation of well conducted clinical trials,authoritative group judgments,surveillance
studies,and other inquiries concerning medical technologies.therefore,as we encourage an increase
in competent asswsment activity,we seek to assembel what good assessment findings there
are,both from our traditional sources and from our
