A. Look at the following Ansoff’s Matrix. Explain the situation of the following strategies
for Fanta to Grow.

1.- Why do you think they used the strategy?

They used the market penetration. This strategy have objective of achieving higher market shares
in existing markets with existing products. Her product is a soda, in this stratergy used her target
market for make using their market, teenagers who with the use of social networks, came to
advertise among other young consumers Fanta products.

2.- What is good and bad about the strategy?

The good thing about this strategy is that they used active participants to their consumers. The
bad thing is that in this strategy, I limit myself to the use of social networks and I do not reach
other means of communication. By only going to a "market" already established did not take into
account the opinion of other consumers, is segmented their product to a specific population and
not in general.

3.- For you which is the most and least effective?

The most effective is the diversification of the products, since you involve the entire population

from this analysis, why?

Consumers will always look for new products, it is something that every company should take into
account. Contemplating a clear example that if a company does not take into account these "new

Johnson & Johnson

1.- Describe the situation of the business.

J & J is a US multinational company of medical devices, pharmaceuticals and packaged consumer


products founded in 1886. It currently ranks 37th on the Fortune 500 list of 2018 of the largest
corporations in the US. UU

2.- Analyze the context of their business.

This corporation includes some 250 subsidiary companies with operations in 60 countries and
products sold in more than 175 countries. J & J has set several positive objectives to keep the
company environmentally friendly and ranked third among the largest companies in the US. UU In
the green Newsweek ranking.

3.- Recommend why it should change or not.
