Gear Limit Function

SMCS - 4800

This function limits the maximum ground speed of the machine after the load is dumped. The ground speed is limited until the sensor tells the ECM that
the hoist lever is in FLOAT. On machines with an ejector system, the ground speed is limited until the sensor tells the ECM that the ejector lever is in
the RETURN position. The ECM prevents upshifting to any gear higher than the stored value. The value of the gear limit is programmable by the
service personnel. The value of the gear limit for the body float function is set with the ET.

The range of numbers are listed below.

725, 730, 735, and 740

Factory setting ... 1
Range ... 0 to 3

Note: The gear limit function will be disabled with a gear value of 0.
