In this blog the author talks about 5 facts about poverty in Haiti. These facts explain how poverty

in Haiti is and how it is growing due to natural disasters, lack of education, lack of food and low

social class. It shows the impact the 2010 earthquake has made on Haiti, and how due to the

earthquake, the country is one of the poorest countries in the world. This blog will help me in my

research because it gives me important information about my theme. It also makes a comparison

of how Haiti was before and after the 2010 earthquake.

The author discusses how Haiti is extremely vulnerable to natural hazards and how most of the

population gets severely affected when the country is hit by one. It talks about how Haiti has

tried to prepare and has taken percussion against these natural disasters. The author also talks
about Haiti’s poverty percentage. It talks about the percentage of people in poverty, in extreme

poverty, and even the percentage of literate people. This website will help me in my research

because it contains impotent information about poverty, natural disasters, and percentages about

Haiti. The percentages include people below the poverty line, people below the extreme poverty

line, and economic growth.

The author talks about Haiti and some of its basic information like the per capita income and the

percentage of the people who live in poverty. It gives several factors that may be the reason Haiti

has such poverty levels. The author also wrote about how people living in Haiti are suffering and

how they are being affected by the extreme levels of poverty in the country. The author listed

several things and actions that can be done to get rid or decrease poverty in Haiti. This can help

me I my research because it gives some reasons Haiti is in extreme poverty and several options

of solution that can decrease poverty in Haiti.

The author talks about the lack of education in Haiti. It talks about how many children go to

school and about all of the one that drop out. The author also relates poverty to the last of

education. In Haiti, children go to school at the age of 7.8 and most of them drop out or don’t

finish all their studies. It also talks about several activities and thing people are trying to do to

improve the education system in Haiti.

The author gives facts and proof of how Haiti is vulnerable to poverty in rural areas. This journal

is about a survey that was conducted in households’ economic well-beings. It also calculates

various measures of vulnerability to poverty, considering the shocks.

The author compares the lifestyle in Haiti and in the Dominican Republic. The comparisons

include the difference impacts each country has with natural disasters. The geographical location

of Haiti makes it more vulnerable to Natural Disasters than DR, even though both countries are

right next to each other. It also talks about violence and how it creates a big impact on the

economy.

This author talks about how Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and one of

the poorest in the world. It proves that even though Haiti is a poor country, the rural areas are the

poorest section. It also mentions the probability of living in a poor house if you live in Haiti. It

also made several polls to determine the poverty and inequality that is present int the country. It

also talks about how income distribution plays a mayor roll in equality. Haiti is located in the

place where the income is worst distributed and the internal growth of a forty depends on income

distribution. It also mentions how poverty stands out more int he rural areas that in the normal

areas.

The author talks about Haiti and how it is being consumed by poverty. It mentions that even

thought where Haiti is located is a middle class location, Haiti hasn’t even reached that. It was

once on of France’s most productive colony, but now more than 80% of the population are living

below the poverty line.

The author talks about Haiti’s history, and about 5 decisive events that changed the economy of

the country. It also talks about contemporary problems like economic and political forces and
even migration. The author also mentions failed transitions, like problems of policy reform in the

economy.

The author talks about how to reduce poverty in the world. It gives 10 ways of thing we can do

that can make a difference in the world. One of the thins it talks about is improving watering

other natural resources. It also tell su to implement agricultural programs and to encourage in

trade. Creating jobs and involving other countries in the problems might help. Other countries

without poverty problems might help those in need.
