Class of 24, 15 boys to 9 girls, majority Arabic speaking with some native English speakers.

Areas for Development:


Developing effective methods of assessment of learning, to ensure all needs are met.

Develop use of questioning, by using blooms taxonomy.

General Comments:

Maryam was punctual and dedicated to the advancement of the students, and she has the
attributes required to become an educator. Her manner with the children was impressive,
and she sets expectations in a personable and professional way.

She is driven and eager to take part in all aspects of the school community, above and
beyond the expectations of her placement. Maryam enjoyed teaching and planned
interesting scientific investigations for the children, which incorporated scientific skills and
knowledge acquisition. Maryam improved her subject knowledge to deliver lessons which
were suitable to the age of the children while challenging higher level students. She is
familiar with different pedagogical approaches to learning and engages students in their
learning.
