Product Proposal: “Goat´s Milk Yogurt”

Our calling has always been to produce delicious and nourishing food, treat our
goats humanely, and give back to the land. Our founder Norma Acevedo lifelong
dedication to goats began over 20 years ago, when she started raising and
showing goats on her family’s dairy farm.

Many people prefer goat milk over cow milk – not only because they love the taste,
but because it’s gentler on their stomachs. There are key nutritional differences
between the two that lead many people to choose goat milk.

EASY DIGESTIBILITY

The average size of fat globules in goat milk is smaller than in cow milk and forms
a smaller, softer curd in the stomach. Small, soft curds are more rapidly broken
down by stomach enzymes, which makes goat milk more easily digestible

MILK SENSITIVITY

Approximately 7% of people have symptoms of cow milk allergy, which can be


attributed to reactions to alpha S1 casein or whey proteins in milk. Depending on
the breed, goat milk contains negligible levels of alpha S1 casein. Research
studies suggest that 40% or more of patients allergic to cow milk tolerate goat milk
well.

SHORT & MEDIUM CHAIN FATTY ACIDS

Goat milk contains significantly higher levels of short and medium-chain fatty acids
than cow milk. Research suggests that these fatty acids are more rapidly digested,
provide quick energy for the body, and are associated with a variety of other health
benefits.
VITAMINS AND MINERALS

Goat milk contains 18% more calcium, 43% more potassium, 40% more
magnesium, and 104% more Vitamin A than whole cow’s milk.2 See how the

PROBIOTICS

Our goat milk yogurt are fermented with live and active cultures, resulting in
hundreds of billions of probiotics per serving. Eating probiotic-rich foods like yogurt
and kefir is an important strategy for overall health.

TRADITIONAL YOGURT

This is goat milk yogurt in its most authentic form – fresh, velvety, slightly tart, and
with a clean finish. We take great care in crafting our yogurt and gently culture it for
hours to obtain hundreds of billions of probiotics per serving. Because it’s made
from goat milk our yogurt can be enjoyed by many people who would otherwise not
choose dairy. Versatile and mild, plain goat milk yogurt is delicious with granola
and fresh fruit, or in any recipe calling for yogurt as an ingredient.

Grade a pasteurized whole goat milk, tapioca starch, pectin, and live and active
cultures.
