2018 FBI VIOLENT CRIME AND ACTIVE SHOOTER CONFERENCE

The FBI Violent Crimes Unit will be hosting the 2018 FBI Violent Crime and Active Shooter Conference
on July 11-12, 2018 at the Hilton Columbus Downtown Hotel in Columbus, Ohio.

There are no registration fees, however registration is limited to 300 participants with a cutoff date of
June 30, 2018. Registration will be on a “first come, first serve basis”.

Accommodations for this training will be provided by the Hilton Columbus Downtown, 401 North High
Street, Columbus OH 43215. A special room rate of $119 (plus tax) will be given to participants
booked before the 6/10/2018 deadline.

This two-day training will provide federal, state and local law enforcement officers with strategies
and resources to mitigating the violent crime threat and improve their response to critical incidents.
This conference will also address the FBI’s mission to combat domestic violent incident crimes
through crime reduction strategies and initiatives targeting, investigating and deterring the most
violent and dangerous criminal offenders.
