Step 3

1. What is the local reaction?

Pain, redness, swelling of injection
3 categories about degree of the pain
- Mild : just in the area of injection
- Moderate : if move we feel the pain
- Severe : still feel the pain when we rest, after the injection
Jurnal of UNPAD vol.4
2. What is the immunisation?
Is strategy to make someone to have the immune strength or resisten to infectious disease
The strategy to make the passive immune by the weaken virus and this is respon to antigen.
Make the antibody to know the same antigen that infection before

3. What is the relation between needle length and local reaction?

Size of needle is bigger can make the bigger pain too
The angle of mechanism of injection the needle
Slow the injection
The mistake of choose the needle to the location of the injection
Needle length can reduse the local reaction like redness, swelling, etc
Bcg  inject redness pastula rupture in to the wound hell spontaneously

4. How the mechanism of local reaction?

2 mecanism
- The fluid of vaction not entering in the right place
- From the antigen like the inflammation
o Vasokontriction
o Inflammation
o And appear 5 sign of inflamation
5. What is the purpose of immunisation?
- Can prevent our body from disease
- To decrease morbidity of infant
- Decrease ill and morbidity causes by PD3I
- Given the population that risk factor to infectious disease like infant or pregnant women,so
every baby must be given complete immunization, so can decrease morbidity rate
- Work by activating immune system to fight against certain disease

6. What classification of immunisation?

- Optional : just when we want
- Required
o Routine
 Basic : age 0-1 YO
 Continued : age 3 YO, elementary school, and teeneger
o Additional
o Spessific : like want to HAJI, UMROH to vaccination from endemic disease
- BCG just inhibit tuberculosis, dose 0.05cc (infant), 0.1cc(child)
- DPT diftery(malignant), tetanus, pertussis, dose 3 times of vaccine
- Hepatitis B
- Polio  the virus polio have been weaken, get the experiment by injection to kindey of
monkey
- Measles vaccine/rubella providing activate virus complication made fever

7. What can reduce the pain of immunization?

Mental preparation
The decrease diameters of the needle
The technical of injection

8. What is the often mistake from the procedure of immunization?

- The dose of antigen(to much)
- Location and way of injecting
- The sterilization of syringes
- Needle used
- Aseptic and antiseptic action
- Contamination of vaccine and syringes
- Vaccine storage
- Use of vaccine remaining
- Type and amount of vaccine solvent
- Not paying attention to manufacturer’s instruction
9. What the schedule of immunisation?
By picture
- Baby
