Course Descriptions
100 — Wenco Essentials
The nine essential courses of Wenco Learning provide a foundation for understanding Wenco, fleet management
systems (FMS), and the e-learning platform itself. Content in these courses focuses on concepts in fleet management
and the core Wenco applications used by all mine departments. All courses in this category are prerequisites for the
advanced courses of Wenco Learning that cover topics specific to each role at a mine site.
109 — Dashboard
Dashboard combines three distinct reporting tools to help Wenco users make sense of mine data.
This data supports decision-making to improve the productivity and effectiveness of mine operations.
Students of this course will learn to perform the following tasks:
• Understand Wenco data reporting
• Analyze data
• Summarize data to make it actionable
• Understand widgets and compile them into dashboards

Course Descriptions
200 — Wenco Champion
After completing the Wenco Essentials, students must complete the following courses to receive Wenco Champion
certification.
300 — Dispatching
After completing the Wenco Essentials, students must complete the following courses to receive the Dispatching
certification.
10
400 — Machine Guidance
After completing the Wenco Essentials, students of the Machine Guidance course must complete the following modules
to receive Wenco Machine Guidance certification.
403 — BenchView
The BenchView application connects office personnel to the mobile units equipped with
BenchManager that operate in the pit. At the end of this course, students will be able to perform the
following tasks:
• Maintain constant communication between BenchView and mobile units
• View and understand real-time map displays
• Monitor multiple BenchManager units simultaneously
• Create and update job files sent to mobile units
• Import files from third-party design software
• Integrate BenchManager into other Wenco application workflows

Course Descriptions
403 — Arm Geometry System (AGS)
The Arm Geometry System adds greater precision to excavators by installing accelerometers along the
unit. This precision enhances ore quality control and allows for complex maneuvers, such as digging a
vertical split bench. Students of the AGS course will learn to operate excavators using absolute bucket
positioning for improved accuracy and control.
501 — PitNav
PitNav adds turn-by-turn navigation to an equipment unit’s onboard touchscreen. A supplementary
map updates the operator in real time as the unit travels through the mine site. Students of the PitNav
course will be able to perform the following tasks:
• Navigate using GPS-enabled route guidance, turn by turn
• Understand the tools and information included in PitNav
• Calculate alternate routes when a unit skews off-route
• Understand auto-switching between display screens when events occur
12
503 — Maintenance Monitor
Maintenance Monitor allows crew members to track the progress of repairs and upkeep on equipment,
facilitating improved planning and scheduling. In this course, students will learn how to do the following:
• Improve maintenance planning practices
• Understand how to reduce maintenance costs
• Understand how to reduce unplanned maintenance and rework
• Apply Maintenance Monitor to track equipment from initial down status until it returns to active duty
506 — TireMax
Tires are a major operating cost for a mine. TireMax helps mines extend the life of their tires by
monitoring their ongoing condition. This course presents students with information to let them fulfill
the following objectives:
• Explore the features of TireMax, including real-time data, calculations, and customization functions
• Understand the TKPH/TMPH formula used to track tire condition
• Apply the information from TireMax to reduce tire issues and prevent unscheduled maintenance
13
Course Descriptions
507— Reporting Server
The Wenco Reporting Server is an additional server available to handle all reporting and data analysis
for the Wenco system. In this course, students will learn how to use the Reporting Server to perform
the following tasks:
• Configure data from the Wenco Operational Database Server
• Set the Reporting Server as the default source for SSRS and WencoDB Home reports
• Reconcile multiple database sources into a single server
508 — ReadyLine
ReadyLine is Wenco’s asset health management application, a tool for monitoring the condition of
machine components to facilitate predictive maintenance. At the end of this course, students will be
able to fulfill the following objectives:
• Understand the benefits of ReadyLine, including reduced downtime, reduced operation costs, and
improved planning
• Use ReadyLine’s tools to apply preventive maintenance
• Define and initiate a proactive maintenance culture
14
Safety Training
To complement Wenco Learning’s online training, we also offer hands-on programs that focus on operational safety at
mine sites. These courses expand on the material covered in the e-learning modules, broadening their focus to address
general safety issues and hazard prevention. Each course runs for two hours and occurs in-person, either at a client site
or in a classroom available at Wenco headquarters.
