Dear Sir/ Madam,

It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the two days Workshop organised by the Centre for Himalayan Studies during 11-12
December, 2018. The workshop will begin at 10.30 AM on Tuesday (11 December 2018) and the venue for both the days of
Workshop would be the Conference Hall, Administrative Building. We plan to organise a Roundtable discussion on the theme on the
second day (12th December 2018) of the event. Also a Book Exhibition cum Sale has been organised for both the event days.
Prof. Sanchari Roy Mukherjee, Dean, Faculty Council for PG Studies in Arts, Commerce and Law has kindly consented to
inaugurate the Workshop with Dr. Dilip Kumar Sarkar, Registrar, NBU as Guest of Honour. Prof. Bani Prasanna Misra,
former Professor & Director, CHS will be the Keynote speaker while Valedictory address will be delivered by Prof. T. B. Subba,
former Vice Chancellor of Sikkim University & Professor of Anthropology, NEHU.
