EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

According to a survey, there is almost 6 to 8 hours load shedding is observed in Pakistan with
urbanization increasing at a rapid rate, the internet users are growing as well. There are currently
35.1 million (18%) internet users with increase expected in the coming years. There lies gap for
internet users during load shedding hours as the internet connectivity is also interrupted along with
electricity. Therefore, we come up with the alternative source of power for the routers so as to
provide uninterrupted connectivity to the internet users at low cost as well. We have come up with
a product named “Power-Fi” which will provide the solution to the problem mentioned above.
We will be targeting the common internet users using routers for internet connectivity.
Furthermore, we plan to do B2B with companies that will add value to their product and will
increase their brand equity as a whole.
Eureka fair will be the platform where we will unleash our product to the public and will of their
opinion about the product. We’re hoping for a positive feedback from the guests that will help us
in the future.
We have done our costing and Pricing keeping in mind the margins and opportunity cost that we
will bear.

INTRODUCTION TO IDEA
Our idea is to create a power source that will act as an alternative source of power during the course
of load shedding hours so as to provide the customers with the internet connectivity during the
electricity breakdown period. Therefore, we have come up with the an idea of “Power-Fi” that will
act as alternative of power for the routers so as to provide uninterrupted connectivity to the internet
users and will also be multi-purpose that will be able to charge the phones and that too at low cost
.

BUSINESS MODEL CANVAS

TARGET CUSTOMERS

Our target market is too big because there are several noes of the user who feel the need for our
product indeed every user does not want to face disconnection problem of the internet because of
electricity failure or restart of the WIFI router because of electricity load-shedding while using
their PC, Laptop. Apparently, it seems to be a very unnecessary thing but there is a big target
market that will bear any cost to overcome this issue. As our product (Power- Fi) can also help
those users who face internet disconnection in the car or any remote area which has a long no of
hours electricity breakdown issue. Example of our target customers Offices, Houses, Laptop
owners who are using PTCL Broadband, Wi-Tribe, Cable Internet. We will target B2B as well as
B2C Market.

Making a product is not an end but a beginning. Beginning of your product’s journey which will go
through different stages of life. Once our product will be introduced I hope it would welcomed by
innovators who are willing to take risk. At this stage, we have to make sure that we’re conforming to our
claims that we made so the positive message will be sent forward. Reacting the positive feedback early
adopters will come in, it is the point where will innovate and make our product innovating 1 for all power
bank concept that means it will act as a UPS to your routers and also act as charging power bank for your
phone and that too at the same price or lower than that of a power bank in markets. This will play a major
role in crossing the chasm and then certainly the early majority will accept the product and it is the point
where we will be heading towards the mass pro.

TESTING PLAN (EUREKA FAIR)

We are totally optimistic about our product but it will be unfair for any startup business to start
without testing your product in the market. To test our product before launching in the market we
have chosen some hefty steps which will be testing our product in Eureka Fair to get perspective
of experience people as well as giving our product free to some target market users so they can
share their experiences with us.

THE WAY FORWARD – FUTURE PLANNING

As our Hopes are high that we can gain the height of glory with our keen interest and endeavor.
Our future plan will be to launch our product in the market and gain the premium if it
gets successful. We will offer numerous other products but for that, we need an investor who
succors us to bring our products with high quality.

The Target Customers


All internet users who currently are using internet through Wi-Fi router which required electricity
For e.g. Offices, Houses, Laptop owners who are using PTCL Broadband, Wi-Tribe, Cable
Internet.

Job to be done
Providing Internet connectivity even when there is a power breakdown or scheduled load shedding.

Consumption Barrier
Maybe there is a lack of awareness regarding the use of the product which might prevent the user
to buy it. Initial Cost of ownership can be a possible barrier.

The Basic Business Model


Online selling and retail shops where power banks are available.

The Impact Potential


We can achieve desired revenue by filling the gap that the internet users’ face then there is no
connectivity during long hours of load shedding which result in people buying our product which
is very cost efficient.

The Critical Uncertainties


The main uncertainties are that product that are more technologically advanced and work for longer
our as compare our product. Secondly another uncertainty is that there will be no load shedding in
the future.

The Testing Plan


The testing plan will be conducted on first 5 products by giving different people who will tell us
about issues that we may face. Then we will eventually improve our product.
