“I no longer want to continue living, and I’m happy to have a chance tomorrow to end it.

David Goodall said.David Goodall, The oldest Australia's scientist, is the man who traveled from
Perth, Australia to the hospital in Switzerland for Euthanasia (Physician-Assisted
Suicide)(Oltermann,2018). However, Euthanasia is illegal in practically all country around the
world. Living is a part of life processes as well as death. We generally accept that we have the
right to live. On the other hand, should we have the right to die?

The word "Euthanasia" stems from Greek word ‘Euthanatos’ , meaning ‘good death.’
Euthanasia is an act of intentionally ending a person's life to mitigate suffering. Two types of
Euthanasia can be classified as Euthanasia. Active Euthanasia is the action involves the use of
poisonous substance or object that accelerates the patient's death. Passive Euthanasia is the
act to terminate treatment to the patient. The sufferers deserve to die tranquility by using
Euthanasia. Believe it or not, Euthanasia is already allowed by the government in many
countries such as Switzerland, Netherland, Canada, and Belgium. Many thinks that it is a mercy
to assist terminally ill people to pass away without any pain and suffering. Euthanasia is not only
for terminally ill people but also includes elderly ones. David Goodall, before his final hours, he
enjoyed his meal, fish & chips, while listening to Beethoven’s Ode. He ended his life by using
the lethal infusion into his bloodstream. However, Euthanasia is still restricted by the interval of
law.

On another side of a coin, some people believe that life is an invaluable present from
God. Therefore, it should not be taken away willingly. This can mean that Euthanasia is
probably not suitable for many countries, as a result of interval of law, non-voluntary euthanasia,
and medical ethics. In the case that Euthanasia is legal, the doctor who is a criminal can use
this interval of law to kill people without any criminal offences.(Mosley, 2016)

This right would allow them to leave this earth with dignity, relieve them of unbearable
pain, and to assisted suicide must be openly given to those who are terminally ill. Although we
must have a strict law. Lastly, it doesn’t matter how we die, what matters is how much good we
have done to the earth while living and have we lived to the best of our lives.
