I understand that the application has not been submitted until I have attended my appointment and handed in the
necessary documents, including this letter with a signature. I can find information about which documents to hand in in
the email I got when I registered the application form, or at www.udi.no/checklists.

The case processing time is calculated from the day I hand in the documents. I am aware that the application may be
rejected if I have not handed in all the documents on the checklist.

I understand that the Norwegian immigration authorities may collect information about me or my reference person
from other Norwegian government agencies, for example the Norwegian Tax Administration, the Norwegian Labour
and Welfare Service (NAV) or the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund. The immigration authorities can use this
information when processing this application and future cases.

I confirm that the information I have given in my application is correct and complete. I am aware that if I give materially
incorrect or clearly misleading information, or do not give information of material significance,

• my application can be rejected, and any future residence permit I am given can be withdrawn
• I can be refused entry or be expelled from Norway and Schengen. If I am expelled I will be registered in the
Schengen Information System (SIS), which means that I will be refused entry to the whole of the Schengen Area
• I can be punished according to Norwegian law
