Position:
Job Family: T&D-South Asia
Summary:
Transformation of KEC T&D – SA projects from construction focused to PBT focused way of project
management by implementation of project Eagle guidelines in true spirit
Location: Gurgaon
Reports to: Head – Project Academy
Key Responsibilities: 1.

Planning & Implementation:


 Drive implementation of project management practices across Transmission and Distribution
projects to ensure that projects are completed on / before time within budgeted cost and
quality
 Lead and manage the change to drive adoption of standard processes and templates across
the projects
 Rigorously monitor progress of the projects, anticipate and assess project delays, identify
risks and drive implementation of risk mitigation steps. Escalate issues and challenges
appropriately
 Continuously evaluate existing modules (e.g. Start-Up, Planning, Performance Management,
Closure, Receivables etc.) to ascertain relevance and utility – “upgrade” them over time once
all sites start complying to minimum mandatory requirements in letter and in spirit
 Train all new hires (Project manager, Project team members, Planning Engineers etc.) on
project management practices
 Anchor capability building in the regions on all new initiatives (e.g., new IT systems,
Primavera,SAP, mechanization etc.)

Design and Delivery:


 Drive special projects (e.g., cost reduction, mechanization, subcontractor training etc.) in line
with evolving project requirements to deliver significant PBT improvement – also develop
methodology to track the associated impact (e.g., IL tracker), and update the same monthly

Supervision:
 Evaluate EQ compliance for the region
 Escalate recurrent non-compliance issues to the Academy Head/ED for guidance/support on
next steps

*EQ – Eagle Quotient (measurement of implementation & adherence to transformation processes)


Desired qualification: MBA – Project Management + BE

Experience required: 4 – 6 years of relevant work experience (Desirable - EPC/Construction


Industry)
