I. INTRODUCTION
Payload is the carrying capacity, usually measured in terms of weight. The
payload of this condition means cargo, provisions, and other equipment. Extra
fuel, when optionally carried, is also considered part of the payload. Payload
for this case may refer to revenue-generating cargo because it is containing
some oil, bulk, container, cargo, passenger or else.
According to the Payload, we might have tank for placement. The function of
the tank is to put the cargo and other provisions in the ship. Also, ballast water
tank, cofferdam,sloop tank, FO tank is needed, considering each calculation.
II. OBJECTIVES
The things that we must understand about Ships Crew are:
1. Determining the Total Weight of The Ships.
2. Determining the Ballast Water.
3. Determining the LWT, DWT & Payload.
4. Determining the Cargo Volume and Other Tanks.
