f you have a JIO Sim card and want to connect it too a TP-LInk router do the

I have had partial success in connecting the JioFi3 to my TP-Link TD-W8698 ADSL
WiFi Router. These are the steps I followed:
Login to your TP Link Router.
1. Go to "Quick Setup", Select 'Wireless Router Mode'.
1a. In the next page, select 'IPOE', with 'Dynamic IP' and ''Obtain Automatically'.
1b. In the next page, 'Enable Wireless', with 'Network Authentication' as WPA-
Personal.
Enter 'Network Name' as JioFi3_xxxx (use your JioFi3 ID), and 'Network Key' as your
Jio Password.
1c. Confirm, Reboot, and login again.
2. Go to "Wireless"
2a. 'Enable Wireless', Enter 'SSID1' as JioFi3_xxxx, and 'Country' as India.
2b. Go to 'Security', select 'SSID' as JioFi3_xxxx, and 'Network Authentication' as
WPA-Personal, Enter 'Wireless Network Key' as your Jip Password, and 'WPA
Encryptio' as AES.

How to extend the range of your phones Hot Spot by using a router.
2. Select the option Enable WDS Bridging or something similarly named. Note: Some
routers dont have a WDS/Bridging function. If yours does not, then you will have
to get a different router. (WDS = Wireless distribution system.)
3. Click the Survey button. It will show you all the connections within your
range. Note: You can enter details manually if no survey option is given.
6. Click "Save".
7.You should now be prompted for proper selection of channel. Click "Yes" and it
will automatically select for you.
8. Disable "DHCP".
10. Once the router has completely rebooted, wait a little while for it to connect,
as occassionally it won't connect instantly.
11. If it isn't working, then you may need to update the routers firmware.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When you have disabled "DHCP", you will not be able to access your
router directly, but your internet should work. To access your router you will have
to configure IP address of your connection. For information on how to access your
router when DHCP is disabled please visit this link...
