1. Why does this position interest you?

Mathworks makes complex software. I would love to learn how MATLAB was designed
and built. I would also like to improve my programming and testing skills by wri
ting and testing code for Mathworks and also work with PRO (professional) coders
and intelligent people. Working for Mathworks will provide me with a solid begi
nning to my career.
2. What about you experience makes you fit for this position?
I have a good academic record which is reflected by my GPA of 3.879. During my e
ntire association with computer science I have worked with programming languages
that include C, C++ and Java. I have studied Enterprise level web development f
rameworks such as Spring MVC3 along with Hibernate and have programmed in HTML,
CSS and JavaScript. I have worked on cloud computing projects during my last sem
ester of Masters which involved performing analytics using Amazon's EMR, S3 and
EC2.
3. Give an example how you tackled with multiple responsibilities?
a. Manage school and work. I had to work for my courses as well as develop Peopl
eSoft applications for my university and I was also involved in research work wi
th one of my professor's (which professor) during the Summer of 2012. When I had
to cope with multiple responsibilities I had to organize myself and follow stri
ct time management. I had to report for work 8 hours and after work I had a clas
s for 2 hours. I used to complete my class assignments there and then. I decided
against bringing office work home and so I had the time to do research after cl
ass. I love research work so the time would fly but then I had to stop and get s
ome sleep in order to focus well on tasks at office next morning. I think managi
ng time helped me to manage difficult courses in one semester as well as the mul
tiple tasks as discussed above while at school.

b. At work I had to work for two different supervisors (had 2 different bosses).
One was technical and the other was more of administrative work involving co-or
dinating with the HR to hire people at office. Had to keep both my bosses happy.
4. Do you need sponsorship?
Yes I do need sponsorship. I am currently on an F1 visa on Optional practical tr
aining. I have my EAD card which valid through one year. I can get an OPT extens
ion for 17 months. In the future I will require H1b sponsorship to continue work
ing in the US.
5. What's you GPA?
My GPA on completing my master's degree from the University of Houston was 3.879
