16. There shall be removed from the Register the name and other particulars
of - any Architect, Graduate Architect or foreign architect who has died, or
architectural consultancy practice which has ceased to practise;

Note
1. The spouse, heir ,relative , client must submit proof to Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia
to cancel the registration.

2. As long as the proof or death certificate has not been submitted to LAM,
cancelation of registration cannot be confirm. Onus on Family or client.

3. The ACP registration cancelation subject to business arrangement of the


deceased heir as follows:-
- Heir of deceased has no one to take over
- Heir of the deceased has a family member may be able to take over the
rights of the deceased.
- Heir wishes to transfer rights to another related heir ACP
- ACP has other partners.

25. Death and Incapacity

(1) In the event of the death or incapacity of the Professional Architect

• the Architect's engagement shall be regarded as terminated.

(2) The client may,

engagement of the Architect,
• make use of all drawings and documents prepared by the Architect,
• provided that they are only for the purpose of implementing the project on
the site
• on which the design was originally prepared.
