 How does an Airplane fly?

An airplane flies by the basic method of the four forces weight, lift, thrust and drag.
- Weight: is the integrated load of the object itself and gravitational force.
- Lift: is created by the difference in air pressure.
- Thrust: it’s the force produced by the engine to create a flying motion.
- Drag: is caused by frictional force and difference in air pressure to help the plane to retain or
slowdown.
An airplane flies, the wing is designed to provide enough lift to overcome the airplane’s weight, while
the engine provides enough thrust to overcome drag and move the airplane forward , and the thrust of
a rocket engine overcomes the weight of the object to move forward.
The four primary controls of an airplane
- Throttle: reduces the speed of the plane.
- Elevator: elevate the nose of the plane upward and downward.
- Rudder: placed at the back of the plane and makes the plane to turn to the right and left.
- Aileron: placed at the wing of the plane that moves up and down to control the planes balance.
