Rules

Submission of Synopsis: (Last Date- January 7, 2019)

1. Word limit for the synopsis is 700 words

2. The synopsis may contain illustrations (In case of any video to be included, kindly specify the link
to the video)
3. The synopsis should contain
A. Succinct definition of the problem addressed
B. Technical, engineering and social aspects of the solution proposed
C. Brief about the working model/prototype to be developed
4. Name of the file: “<College Name>_<Team Name>_<Problem Statement Number>”
Files with name other than specified will not be accepted
5. File Format: .doc / .docx
6. Synopsis should be mailed to Createch@larsentoubro.com with subject line-
“L&T Createch: <College Name>_<Team Name>”

2. Scalability
3. Potential of Impact
4. Cost & Acceptance
5. Design & Ergonomics

Registration of Team: (Registration Link) (Last Date- December 30, 2018)

1. The participating teams should have 3 members

2. The team members should be from the same college
A. Can be a mix of graduates (2nd, 3rd & 4th year) and post-graduates (1st & 2nd Year)
B. Can be from cross-branch and cross-semester

Prize:

1. 1st Prize: 1 Lakhs

2. 2nd Prize: 50 K
3. 3rd Prize: 25 K
4. Certificates to the National Finalists

And an opportunity to work and get mentored by L&T leaders

Note:
Each Shortlisted team for the finale would be provided with 10K as incidental expenses for developing
the working model/ prototype and exhibit in the Finale at L&T Mumbai Campus on February 15, 2019
Problem Statements:

Number 1: Developing a solution for Solid Waste Management using new age technologies like
IOT, Drones, Predictive Analytics, etc.

Number 2: Development of a scheme to recover waste heat from various engineering processes

Number 3: IOT enabled system for monitoring supply of drinking water to consumers in water
distribution networks

Number 4: Developing a Traffic Improvement Solution using technology

Number 5: Tackling perceivable threats from Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) with the usage
of technology

Number 6: Improving productivity, reduction of cost of constructing concrete structures using

new age technologies like VR, 3D Printing, IOT etc.
