Island
The island is constructed from multiple highly detailed
metal castings, including large pieces that make up the
main parts of the island and smaller pieces, such as stairs,
radars and binoculars.

The funnel was a revolutionary design, positioned
below the flight deck, facing down, directing the
exhaust away from the hull. Made from three main
castings and etched brass pieces.

If you remove the flight deck, the detailed structure of the hangar
below is revealed. The hangar is made up of two levels: the
removable upper level made from individual ‘trays’, and the lower
level, built onto the frames.

Wooden hull assembly
