SikaFill® MY
Elastic waterproofing covering for roofing

Product SikaFill® MY is an elastic covering of creamy consistency, using styrene-acrylic


copolymers in watery emulsion which, once dry, forms a flexible, waterproofing

Uses  Waterproofing of roofs on different types of substrates:
- Very porous tile terrace
- Pneumatically applied polyurethane
- Fibrocement
- Zinc
- Aluminium
- Wood
- Tiles

- Mortar
- Concrete
 Protection of partition walls against surface water filtrations:
- Vertical side walls, pipings, etc.
- Bridging of joints and cracks
- Repair of tiles and zinc eaves gutters
- Treatment of meeting points in chimneys
 To apply on PVC or polyester substrates, and on paint, it is recommended to
carry out previous tests to determine their compatibility and whether it is
necessary to carry out sanding beforehand

Storage
Storage Conditions / 12 months from date of production if stored in undamaged and unopened, original
Shelf-Life sealed bags. Store in cool and dry conditions. Protect from frost and direct
sunlight.

Mixing Mix SikaFill MY (manually or with a low-revolution mixer) until it is completely
homogeneous.
Application Method / Apply with a short-haired wool roller, brush or by airless gunning.
Tools Using a short-haired roller or a brush, apply a layer of the product diluting 3 parts
of SikaFill per 1 of water, observing that it penetrates well in all the cracks.
Once the priming is dry (approximately 12 hours after having applied it in normal

temperature and relative humidity conditions), add successive layers of SikaFill
MY until the film thickness desired is obtained. Before applying a layer, the
previous one will have to be completely dry.
Cleaning of Tools Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use.
Hardener material can only be removed mechanically.

Notes on Application/ It should not be used in places where it is in permanent contact with water, due to

It is a finishing paint.
Do not place piercing objects on the treatment.
Not recommended for constant or very long immersion in water.
At least 2 coats must be applied on the priming.
In order to obtain good adhesion on asphalt sheets with an anti-adhesive

polyethylene film, it will have to be burnt before applying SikaFill MY.
