(a) Simple Recovery When the vehicle falls in mud or unsurfaced road

then we use our resources like 4X4 gear, some tree leaves under the wheels

sand, stones, wooden plank and we can pull up our vehicle. Vehicle which can

be repaired or with minor defects and can be driven back to unit for further

use. This is called Simple recovery

(b) Accident/ Major Damage RecoveryWhen the vehicle is major

damaged or met with an accident in civil area the driver must first inform to his

unit with details of the accident or damaged occurred. The unit will take

appropriate action to recover the vehicle and admit support required for the

driver. Meanwhile the driver will fill up accident form in detailed format along

with diagram and register an FIR in nearest police station. On reaching the

spot the team will estimate the damage occurred, take appropriate actions as

per laid down procedures and inform to higher authority. After completion of all

the requisite formalities and permission from the admin authority the damaged

vehicle is to be taken out from the place by driving (if possible) or by using

recovery vehicle by means of Tow Bar or Frame rigid bar. This is called

Accident/Major Damage recovery

8. Conclusion If the vehicle is losing power, it could be a sign of a clogged in

filter. Replace the filter at the manufacturer's recommended intervals. When the fuel

filter changed or run out of fuel in a diesel vehicle, it requires bleeding the air bubbles

out of the fuel system and then priming it to get new fuel supply. While driving or

operating a vehicle, there are chances that the vehicle may breakdown, get off-road

or met with an accident. In order to recover the vehicle in such circumstances one

must be aware of the recovery procedure of the break down vehicle to bring the

vehicle back to the unit at the earliest.

(a) The Forklift has two transmission control levers one is forward and

reverse lever and another is high and lower lever. Move high range lever for

desired speed. in the normal operation the lever is placed in high position,

While going up a gradient the same is shifted to Lower position. While carrying

load in confined places, carrying maximum load it is advisable to move in

lower gear.
