1. Define the Adaptive control problem.

4. Differentiate direct and indirect MRAC.

5. Write a short note on LQG self tuning.

6. Write an algorithm for indirect self tuning regulator using RLS.

7. Explain variance constrained self tuning control.

8. Explain briefly about self tuning control for single chip


implementation.

9. Write a short note on temperature control in distillation column.

10. Apply the adaptive strategies to control the motor speed in


induction motor drive.

11. Briefly explain the process of Adaptive control in terms of three


major functions. Discuss about any two IP standards and
