TRANSMITTER CONTROL

q Remote Arming
Press button once. The siren/horn will chirp once, the parking light will
flash once, and five seconds later LED light on the dashboard will begin
flashing slowly. The system is now armed. If your vehicle has power door
lock, the doors will also lock at this time. (Your dealer may charge you to
hook up this feature)
NOTE: If the siren/horn chirps three times during Arming, door is left
opened. The system will bypass the doors and begin to protect your vehicle.
Closing the door will correct the problem.

q Remote Disarming
To disarm, press once. The siren will chirp twice, the LED light will go out,
and the parking lights will flash twice OR stay on for 30 seconds (depending
on the setting of your system). The system is now disarmed. If your vehicle
has power door locks, the door(s) will also unlock at this time.

If you have had your dealer install Driver’s Door Priority Unlock, pressing
twice will unlock all the doors. This feature is not available with all vehicles;
consult with your dealer for more information.

NOTE: While disarming the system, you may hear 4 chirps instead of the
normal 2 chirps to confirm disarming. This indicates that the system was
triggered in your absence. Check the flashing pattern of the LED and refer
to the chart on page 6 to determine what caused the alarm to trigger.

q Remote Mute “Chirp Delete”


There may be occasions when you wish to arm or disarm the system, but do
not want the chirps to disturb anyone. Simply just press the button. The
system will indicate armed with one flash of the parking lights or disarmed
with either two flashes of the parking lights or the parking lights staying on for
30 seconds (depending on the setting of your system).
NOTE: This confirmation chirp(s) will be eliminated for that one operation
only.

q Remote Panic
This panic feature is particularly useful if someone is harassing you, or if you
see suspicious persons around your car and do not want to approach them
directly. Press button once, the system will automatically sound the

alarm and lock the doors. To shut off the remote panic feature just depress the
again or press button.
NOTE: This feature works even when the vehicle is running.

q Remote Warn Away Sensor Override


The Warn Away (light impact) feature of the shock sensor can be disabled by
pressing immediately after arming the system; the system will confirm with
an additional siren/horn chirp. Until the system is disarmed, the system will
only sound whenever a HEAVY impact is detected. This disabling will be for
one time only. The system will resume normal sensor activation upon
rearming the alarm.

q Remote Shock Sensor Override


The entire shock sensor (Light AND Heavy Impacts) can be disabled by
pressing + immediately after arming the system; the system will
confirm with an additional siren/horn chirp. The entire shock sensor will now
be disabled. The disabling will be for one time only. The system will resume
normal sensor activation upon rearming the alarm.

q Remote Instant Trigger Override


All of the instant trigger (trunk pin switch and the entire shock sensor) can be
disabled by pressing immediately after arming the system; the system will
confirm with an additional siren/horn. The instant trigger is now disabled. This
will be for one time only. The system will resume normal operation upon
rearming the alarm.

OPERATION OPTIONAL
CHANNEL OUTPUT

q Trunk Open or Channel 2


Pressing the button will open the trunk of your vehicle (if so equipped) or
it can be used to control other devices. Please discuss these options with your
dealer.
NOTE: In the armed mode, pressing button will open your trunk and
bypass the trunk pin switch AND the shock sensor, the bypass will remain in
effect until 4 seconds after the trunk has been closed.
Channel 2 Output (Switch 10 for feature select)

When in arming mode if is pressed, the system will automatically exit
arming before giving channel 2 output.

q Channel 3 Output
Channel 3 will give ground signal at any time when buttons + are
pressed together. It is an ideal output for remote starter options. A latch output
is when buttons are pressed together to activate channel 3 output and buttons
are pressed again to inactivate channel 3 output. Please see switch 9 for feature
select.

q Second Door Unlock


Second door unlock output when the button is pressed again within 3
seconds after disarmed the system. This can be used to unlock the passenger
doors when installing progressive door unlocks. (Switch 7 for feature select).

SERVICE & EMERGENCY


MODE

q Service Mode (Valet Mode)


If you are going to have your vehicle serviced, parked by a valet or washed
you will want to put your system into service (valet) mode.
To enter service mode; turn the ignition key to the ON position, press and hold
the Valet switch for 5 seconds, the LED will turn ON, the siren/horn will chirp
once and the parking lights will flash once. The system is now in Service
Mode (Valet Mode).
To exit service mode, repeat the procedure above. The LED will turn off, the
siren/horn will chirp twice and the parking lights will flash twice. The system
has now returned to normal operation.
NOTE: In service mode, the remote door locking and unlock along with the
remote panic still function. All other functions are disabled.

q Emergency override
The Valet switch can be used to disarm the system in case of a lost or
malfunctioning transmitter.
1. Open the driver’s door manually with key. The siren/horn will sound and
the parking light will flash.
2. Turn the ignition key to ON position.
3. Press and hold the Valet switch for 5 seconds.
4. The siren/horn and flashing lights will turn off.

OTHER FEATURES

q CODE LEARNING
Using the following procedure, new remote transmitters can be learned by the
system.
§ System must be disarmed and NOT in the valet mode.
§ The system will allow 3 transmitters to be programmed. Program
using the button on the new transmitter, other buttons of the
transmitter will be automatically configured.
§ Once the code-learning procedure has started, all previously stored
code will be erased, so it is necessary to program all remotes at
once.
1. Turn the ignition key ON-OFF / ON-OFF / ON-OFF 3 times (leave off).
The interval between ON and OFF must not be more than 2 seconds.
2. Press and hold the Valet switch for 5 seconds, the LED will stay on
constantly, and the siren will chirp once to indicate the system has
entered code learning.
3. Press the button on the new transmitter; the LED will flash once, and
the siren will chirp once to confirm learning of the first transmitter.
4. Repeat step 3 to learn second transmitter then the third transmitter within
15 seconds. If successfully done, the LED will flash twice and the
siren/horn will chirp twice to confirm the second transmitter, the LED
will flash three times and the siren/horn will chirp three times to confirm
the third transmitter accordingly.
5. Upon learning the code of the third transmitter, or the ignition key being
turned ON, or no action within 15 seconds, the system will exit the code-
learning mode.

q ANTI-CARJACK
Anti-Carjack Feature is a safety feature that helps to recover your vehicle from
Car-Hijacker. This feature will active whenever you wish, it’s simply just
press button for 3 seconds while ignition on or engine is running. The
siren/horn shall chirp once to indicate the entry of standby mode, and it will go
into its triggered sequence (see below) if any door is opened and closed. In
this period, when ignition is on, press button over 3 seconds, the parking
lights flashes two times, then it shall exit the standby mode.
After 15 seconds siren/horn will begin to chirp and 30 seconds later full
siren/horn and light flash with starter disable will engage and if the engine is
turned off manually at this time, it will not be able to start again. During this
30 seconds count down, pushing the Valet Switch will reset the Anti-Carjack
feature this time until the next trigger is activated, such as opening and closing

a door. If no action is taken in the first 30 seconds, one can only exit Anti-
Carjacking through the procedures of emergency override.

q PROGRAMABLE FUNCTIONS
Passive or Active arming
The system can be programmed to passively (automatically) arm and protect
your vehicle 30 seconds after the last door is closed. Opening any door will
suspend the passive arming cycle until the door is closed again.
Passive Door Locking
The system can be programmed to lock your doors when the system arms
passively. CAUTION: Think carefully before having this feature activated as
it could cause you to accidentally lock your keys inside your vehicle.
Ignition Controlled Door Locking by foot brake
The system can be programmed to LOCK the doors when ignition key is
turned on, doors are closed and step the foot brake. Also the system can
UNLOCK the doors when ignition key is turned off.
Chirp Confirmation or No Chirp confirmation
The system can be programmed to give you a chirp confirmation or to NOT
give you a chirp confirmation(s).
Disarm Parking Light Indication
The system can be programmed to flash your parking lights twice upon
disarming or to stay on for 30 seconds when disarming.
Auto Rearm
The system can be programmed to automatically rearm itself in the even of
unintentional disarming. In the event of an unintentional disarming, the alarm
will automatically rearm and lock the doors in 30 seconds, unless a door is
opened or ignition is turned to the “ON” position.
Door Bypass Notification
The system can be programmed to chirp three times if you attempt to arm the
alarm while a door is open.
If the vehicle is equipped with dome light which stays on for approx 30
seconds after the door is closed, the alarm module sometimes will emit a door
open warning signal.
Door Open Warning when ignition is ON.
The system can be programmed to flash the parking lights continuously if a
door is opened while the ignition is on.

q Malfunction By-Pass
The systems will automatically by-pass faulty sensor until it is corrected. All
remaining sensors will function.

q Siren/Horn Duration
While the system in armed condition, if the door or hood is opened the
siren/horn will sound and parking light will flash for 30 seconds. Then it will
stop and automatically reset and re-arm. If one of the doors remained open, the
system will sound a maximum of four cycles.

q Safety Lockout system


This alarm is equipped with a safety lockout system to keep the alarm from
arming while the vehicle is being driven.

q Tamper Report
When disarming the system, you may hear 4 chirps instead of the normal 2
chirps. This means that the system was triggered in your absence. The LED
will also confirm the intrusion by flashing in an unusual pattern. Please refer
to table of zones. To reset, turn ignition key to ON then OFF.
