Core Acceptance Criteria Dealer has 360 days to return a core for credit.

Valves:Core Values & ...... Cores returned without a purchase to match to will go into the dealer’s
Damage Deductions....2-3 core bank. Core bank will expire after 180 days if no purchase is made
to match to the banked core return.

amounts.
Inspection of Competitive Core Returned through Change Over Program
Check to see if core is in a current core group. If any of the following applies NO credit will be given.
• Disassembled cores. Cores must be in acceptble condition to be remanufactured.
• Three or more components damaged or missing.
Inspect the following major parts:

Compressors: head, block, crankcase, crankcase block, crankshaft, front and rear covers, flange adapters,
connecting rod, and bottom covers where applicable. Any parts which have been welded, braised, or show
excessive wear will be considered damaged.
Valves: cracked body, excessive corrosion, broken or damaged mounting flange, damaged threads, or
internal components missing. Any parts which have been welded, braised, or show excessive wear will be
considered damaged.
