Project: Admin System Migration – Life Implementation


Client: Fortune 500 company
Role: SME / Solutions Specialist / Architect
Assignment: Onsite (WI, USA)
Duration: Oct 2008 – Till date

Description:
Migration of aging legacy Policy administration systems to the new unified and enhanced Policy Admin
System - wMA.

Currently I am working on the various business sub processes for the Life instance of wMA
Product. Major processes are Disbursements and Contract Change. Also involved with 7702
project that includes TEFRA/TAMRA conversion reports validation/corrections.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 Requirement analysis & documentation


 Interact with Business and support for various business processes.
 Worked on various business processes – Reinstatements, Billing and Payments, Fund
transfer, Surrenders, Loans ,Anniversary Processing , RMD and APV, Death Benefits and
other Interfaces.
 Processing the Contract Changes using peripheral interfaces
 Take ownership and get signoff form the business users
 Perform data mining and provide support to business on adhoc basis.
 Assign defects to offshore testing team and help resolve queries to offshore testing team.

Project: Premier Fund Expansion for Fixed and Variable Annuities
Client: Fortune 500 company

Assignment: Offshore (Delhi, India)
Duration: Nov 2007 – May 2008
Description: The objective of this project was to expand Fund Limit to offer greater selection of funds for
customers to provide more diverse investment options. This applied to all 3 Premier companies (NLI, BSL
and SCL) and Premier products A1, A3 and A4.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 Involved in Admin System analysis and Implementation of requirements


 Analysis on Peripherals related to this project was executed.
 Helping with the Test strategy and UAT for fund expansion project.

Description: Application and maintenance support to one of the annuity projects of ING called Premier.
Technical team located onsite-offshore and the nature of work involved maintenance and production
support to ING’s annuity admin system Vantage 12 which consisted of all 3 Premier companies (NLI,
BSL, SCL) and Premier products A1, A3 and A4.

Description: Migration of existing tools to a new set of tools which ranged from scheduling of critical
business applications to performing tape backups on IBM mainframes. Scope included all the modules
and active systems running under different sub systems of the client environment The migration of each
tool had its own cycle of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and final cutover.. These
tools performed tasks ranging from simple sorting (Sync sort/DFSort), to scheduling of jobs (TWS),
Memory and time management (Tape/Snap), configuration management (Endeavour/SCLM).
