Business Solutions Consultant/Architect with B. Tech (IT) having 12+ years of experience,
predominantly in Life Insurance & Annuities with a leading IT firm.
Emphasis on techno functional Business Analysis and Client interfacing at both onsite and
offshore (past 10+ years at onsite.) Working closely with various project stakeholders, SMEs to

specifications for new applications along with enhancements to the existing applications.

Development: Being a hardcore developer on mainframe for almost 3 years and also dabbling with other
languages like Python, VBScript provides ease to implement quick process improvement on my own.
Testing Activities: Adept with testing tools to design and develop test plans, test scripts and conducting
functional and user acceptance test.
Data Mining: Possess reasonable understanding of different relational databases, writing SQL queries,
creating tables, and generating reports. Also played a test data manager role for functional testing.
Estimation & Documentation: Basic familiarity with MS Project to manage schedules, deadlines,
resources, collaboration with different teams, and analyze project information. Quickly adapt to client
specific tools and methodologies for estimation and documentation.

Description:
Migration of aging legacy Policy administration systems to the new unified and enhanced Policy Admin
System - wMA.
Currently I am working on the various business sub processes for the Life instance of wMA
Product. Major processes are Disbursements and Contract Change. Also involved with 7702
project that includes TEFRA/TAMRA conversion reports validation/corrections.

Project: Premier Fund Expansion for Fixed and Variable Annuities
Client: Fortune 500 company
Role: System Analyst
Assignment: Offshore (Delhi, India)
Duration: Nov 2007 – May 2008
Description: The objective of this project was to expand Fund Limit to offer greater selection of funds for
customers to provide more diverse investment options. This applied to all 3 Premier companies (NLI, BSL
and SCL) and Premier products A1, A3 and A4.
