Nation Children’s (UNICEF) and World Health Organization (WHO) in 2013 stated that 2
million children died every year because of diarrhea.

nonequivalent Control Design. The population of this research was the students of SDN 002
Bhayangkara and SDN 005 Samarinda with the total sample of 66 people which were taken by
using probability sampling technique.
Findings: The difference of the behaviors of handwashing after the intervention was that the
control group had the mean score of 17.00 and the experimental group had a mean score of
50.00. The finding showed that singing method was able to improve the behaviors of
handwashing with soap compared with lecturing method. The result of Wilcoxon test showed
that the p value = 0.000, therefore the p value was lower than the alpha value of 0.05. Thus, H 0
was rejected and Ha was accepted.
Conclusion: Health education intervention with singing method improved the behaviors of
handwashing with soap among students. Therefore, it is expected that students are able to apply
the behaviors of handwashing with soap in their everyday life.

by using questionnaire of The diabetes management self efficacy scale and a questionnaire of
self care inventory revised (SCI-R) and the blood sugar content was measured by using a digital
glucometer (accucheck) Finding: The result of data analysis using Pearson Correlation Test
showed that there was a correlation between self efficacy and self care toward the control of
blood sugar content with the value of self efficacy of (r= 0.697) and the value of self care was
r=0.697).
Conclusion: The research finding showed that there was a high correlation between self
