CONSOLIDATED ELECTION

DECISION

The duly constituted VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD ELECTORAL BOARD, consisting of


the HONORABLE MICHAEL P. COLLINS, HONORABLE MICHELLE GIBAS AND
HONORABLE MARGIE BONUCHI, organized by law in response to a Call issued by the
Chairman of said Electoral Board, for the purpose ofhearing and passing upon of objections to the
nomination papers of candidates for election to the Office of Trustee for the VILLAGE OF
PLAINFIELD having convened Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 2: 30 p.m. in the Second Floor
Boardroom of the Village of Plainfield Village Hall, 24401 W. Lockport Street, Plainfield, Illinois
760544, and having heard and determined the objections to the petitions in the above entitled
matter, finds that:

1. That said Electoral Board has been legally constituted according to the laws of the
State of Illinois;

2. Objections to the nomination papers of the candidate herein were duly filed;

3. A Call to the hearing on said objections was duly issued and was caused to be served
upon the members of the Electoral Board, the objector and the candidate by mail
and by personal service as provided by statute;

4. A public hearing was held on these objections on January 2, 2019;

5. There were present at such hearing, the following persons, among others;

a) Honorable Michael P. Collins, Chairman; Honorable Michelle Gibas; and


Honorable Margie Bonuchi;

b) the objector, Brian Wojowski;

c) the candidate, Peter Adamson;

6. All evidence that was tendered by those appearing at the hearing was heard and
considered by Board;

7. All arguments that were made at the hearing were considered by the Board; and
8.
The Board having heard oral argument and having considered all evidence;

HEREBY MAKES THE FOLLOWING FINDINGS, forth herein.

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that the objections of


Brian Wojowski to the nomination papers of Peter Adamson, candidate for election of the Office
of Village Trustee for the Village of Plainfield located in the Counties of Will and Kendall, State
of Illinois, are hereby sustained in conformity with the findings in paragraph 8 hereof The said
nomination papers are hereby declared invalid, and the name of Peter Adamson, as candidate for
election to the Office of Trustee for the Village of Plainfield, shall not be on the ballot for the
Consolidated Election to be held on April 2, 2019.
