After going over proper and improper fractions you had a series of fractions pop up on the
screen and you had students tell you when kind it was and explain why.
Had students go to the board to draw proper and improper fractions.
After you felt comfortable with their understanding at the board, you explained the
independent activity.
Circulated to help with independent work
How can you keep all students engaged while 2 students are doing guided practice at the
board?
Conclusion allows students opportunity to wrap up what they learned: (WORTH 10 POINTS)
I like the

Exhibits concern for individual learning styles 0 1 2 3 4 N/A
Comments:
Great PowerPoint slides to keep everything visual with pictures, labels, and
definitions
Students all drew different fractions out of a baggie. One thing you can do if you
have kids at different labels is you chose the fraction so that students get a card
based more on their individual level (differentiation)
