I highly recommend Megan Roysden for this teaching position. I have known Megan since the fall of 2014 when she was a student at Tennessee Temple University and then Piedmont International University upon TTU’s closing. I was her instructor in several courses to include her supervisor during her student teaching experience. Megan has a strong work ethic and showed determination and perseverance to complete her academic assignments under difficult circumstances. She worked very hard to complete all the requirements of both the university and the two schools where she served as a student teacher with great success. I was very impressed with her performance as a student teacher. Megan managed her classroom well and controlled with a quiet, yet authoritative demeanor. She was careful to be kind, but firm when instructing the students. I noticed an unusual patience when helping students who were struggling to master basic academic tasks. Megan was extremely reliable and creative in her lesson planning. Her passion for teaching and assisting her students to learn was clearly visible. During her college career, she was a student athlete and her strong leadership and abilities were a major reason for the team’s success. Her superior skills as a student, student teacher and athlete make her a strong candidate for this position.
