Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Beth Smith and I am a middle school teacher and the summer camp director
at Grace Baptist Academy in Chattanooga, TN. It is with great pleasure that I highly recommend
Megan Roysden for a teaching position with your school. She has worked under my direct
supervision in an aftercare program and for 4 summers (including this summer) as a lead camp
counselor. She consistently excels in whatever role she is placed in. She is kind, organized,
punctual, dependable, and a wonderful young woman.

Megan is a lead counselor among a group of other counselors and teen volunteers. She
directly supervises a group of 20-25 campers and 2 teen volunteers. She is involved with
planning, organizing, and implementing games, sports, and activities for her group of campers.
She is a leader in the set-up and clean-up of sports, activities, and games. She is also involved in
assisting and encouraging the children to participate and learn during science, cooking,
computer, and art. Megan also helps supervise the child while on field trips. She is involved with
walking the children to the buses, supervising the children on the bus, completing accurate head
counts, and directly keeping the children safe and accounted for on field trips.

Megan is an invaluable asset to the Camp Grace summer program. All of the skills and
qualities she uses on a daily basis in the camp setting will be beneficial in any classroom that she
teaches in. Megan exhibits countless leadership skills, and her dedication and commitment to
her position is to be highly commended. I recommend her for a teaching position without
hesitation.
