Mission of the University:


Provide advanced professional and technical instruction for special purposes, industrial trade,
teacher education, agriculture, fishery, forestry, engineering, aeronautics, and land-base programs, arts
and sciences, health sciences, information technology, and other relevant fields of study. It shall
undertake research, production and extension services, and provide progressive leadership across the area
of specialization for global empowerment.

Goals of the College:

Objectives of Hospitality Management:
1. To train individual an effective and efficient costumer service to address the power needs of the
hotels, restaurants, and other business institution.
2. To promote research, production and extension services to contribute to the national and global
goals.
3. To produce quality graduates who intellectuals but morally upright person.

Course Description:
This course presents a comprehensive survey of the major players that comprises the tourism
industry and how they relate with each other. The nature and distinctive aspects of tourism are discussed
and linked to specific business strategies. The major sector (business, government, and voluntary
organizations, etc.) are defined and classified. The commercial sectors are examined in terms of typical
organizational structures; and major functions of divisions within the structure are described. Impacts of
macro-environmental trends and events on each sector are examined.

General Objectives:
At the end of the course; the students will be able to:
1. Identify and the discuss the Hotel classifications the different accommodation facilities;
2. Gain insights on how to handle reservations and other reservation operation activities;
3. Learn and execute the proper check-in and check-out procedures;
4. Define the different hotel terminologies and gain insights on how to use common hotel devices;
5. Formulate ways to resolve, avoid or deal with guest complaints;
6. Possess desirable traits and values in properly dealing with guest concerns and personnel from
other departments;
7. Analyze the importance of hotel security and learn ways to handle emergency situations.
8. To know the importance of Hospitality Industry
9. Learn to gain desirable traits and values in giving services to guests
10. Demonstrate knowledge and skills in different catering foods services and tourism.
