Program 6 days – 5 nights program

(4 nights in at the Pacaya Samiria Reserve, 1 night in Iquitos)

1stº day Lima- Iquitos

TransferTransport to the airport to board your flight to Iquitos. Upon
arrival to the airport city, reception and transport to the hotel. The Room
accommodation with choice of private bathroom. is to individual
election. The rooms have private bathroom and bBreakfast is included.
You will Mmeeting with the Representative of Yvy mara rey
Representative to coordinate the activities of the next day tour.

2ndº day Iquitos - Nauta – Yarina

05:30- Transport Transfer to the city of Nauta, located 95 km driving on
away by paved road (approxapprox.imately 1 h 30 min. of trip).
Departure to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve by boat, Upon arrival,
we will travel by boat, upstream through the Marañón River to the
Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. En-route On the tour you can see local
bird species, typical of the river banks, such as PlayeritosSandpipers,
GolondrinasSwallows, Gaviotas Gulls and many several species of
KingfishersMartín Pescador; it is very likely to spot you will probably see
river dolphins (“bufeos”/dolphin of the Sotalia species. specie).
UponWhen entering to the Yanayacu Pucate River you can see the
change in of the water color as it originates starts in the center middle
of the Reserve and. iIts dark colorationwaters, determined due toby the
presence of decomposing plants substances, makes a strong contrast
strongly and it do esno’t combine immediately combine with the
mineral-rich waters /waters richest in minerals/ of the Maranoón River.
Arrival at the Reserve, 11am, At 11:00 am we will arrive to the Reserve,
to the guard post of Santo Domingo to do the entry procedures. Guard
Post, for check in. We will continue with theour trip along the Yanayacu
Pucate River., among Llandscapes willthat progressively change
progressively, during your journey, passing from secondary forests of
the anthropic areas/zone to the characteristic ecosystems of floodable
jungle.the rainforest.
We will have lLunch on board. Immediate/ In-between stops during the
trip will take place to see observe fauna the wildlife, especially pink river
dolphins (Inia geoffrensis.).
Arrival at Yarina At( 17 5:00 pm) we will arrive to Yarina, for
aAccomodation at Ivy mara ey Lodge, in quadruple and double rooms
with private in suite bathroom. We will have a Typical traditional dinner

based in on local products and a meeting with the guides to coordinate
the next following day activities.

3rdº day Yarina

After breakfast, we will do a tour to know the surrounding areas of have
an orientation walk around the lodge, and get used to environment of
the Tropical Rainforests.to know the characteristics of the Tropical
Humid Forest. We will rReturn to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, after a break, we will visit the community of Yarina (15
minutes. from the lodge) to know the lifestyle of local people and in
particular the human activities of sustainable management and other
projects carried out there.

Depending on the season, the sightseeing observable activities may be

as follows:

We will rReturn to the lodge for dinner. Before the overnight sleeping
time a night nocturnal walk will be made carried out along the
trails/paths searching for in search of insects, amphibians, and reptiles.

4thº day Yarina – Chingana- River excursion

After breakfast, we will have a full day river excursion all day, to the
recoverying area, which is very rich in wildlifefauna. The main species of
wildlife that can be observed Ddepending on the season, will be able to
observe species such as:are: river otter, a variety of monkeys and birds,

grey and pink river dolphins, caimans, among others. We will Sstop to
rest in Chingana, with the possibility chance of taking a refreshing bath
swim. We will have a snackcold lunch. In the early afternoon, we will
return to Ivy Mara Ey Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

5thº day Yarina- Trails system

After breakfast, we will have a tour through the primary forest to learn
about the different ecosystems that make up the still virgin tropical rain
forest., still virgin. ItThis is a walk of approximately/around 6 km (round
trip) with some sections of medium difficulty such as crossing wetlands
and streams. Since this will be/Giving the fact that the It is an expedition
in a total/ will be in a completely uninhabited area, scouts and guides
equipped with radio will guide/lead the group.so the group will be
preceded by scouts and guides equipped with radio.
We will return to Yarina in the Eearly hours of thein the afternoon, .we
will return to Yarina.
We will have dinner and overnight stay in the lodge. After dinner, we will
meet with the guides.

6thº day Yarina - Nauta - Iquitos

After an early breakfast, we will departure by boat to the city of Nauta
(6:00 am hrs.) and we will have a Ssnack on board. We will arrive
toArrival to Nauta at (1:00 pm)3:00hrs and we will return to the city of
Iquitos by car. Then we will transfer to the airport to take the flight back
to the city of Lima.
Upon arrival, you will be transferredtransfer to your hotel in Lima.
