Outreach Accomplishment Report

I. Summary

Last September 21, 2018, the Junior Institute of Electronics Engineer of the
Philippines conducts a successful and creative outreach program to the children of
Barangay Lawin held at SSCR-dc, ECE Laboratory.

II. Outreach Program

The program started at 8:00 am, after prayer, the first activity is introducing
us with a warm welcome, and then made the kids go up front to introduce
themselves. After that, we made them perform a wake up dance to wake them up
and be active and comfortable.

 After a warm introduction, the next activity was Coloring time, assisted by
the officers, the kids’ color a fruits of basket, then officers help them identify the
fruits and its appropriate color.

After they finished coloring, we gave them a reward and have their work be
seen upfront.
 Then, we let the kids rest, and play around and draw. We let the kids have
fun together with other kids. Letting them enjoy is one of this activity’s objective,
and letting their social skills grow.

After that at 11:00 am we have lunch break, we have given a lunch we

prepared for the children and their guardians and also help the little children eat.
 After lunch break, the next activity is Water Coloring Time. In this activity,
we let the kids use water color which is more enjoyable with supervision of the
officers and then presenting their colored work in front.

III. Awarding and Closing

At 4:00 PM, after the water color activity, the JIECEP awarded the kids with
an envelope containing school supplies and followed with closing remarks and a
prayer .

IV. Accomplishments
 Performed a successful and creative outreach program for children below 10
yrs. old from Brgy. Lawin.
 Made the children have fun and enjoy the activity with the help of the
JIECEP officers.
 Provided a charity for the kids with school supplies and food.
 Taught the kids about community and be socially active.
