San Antonio Village, Makati City

Gentlemen;

I, RICHIEL P. MORENO, who is a formerly employed with your good office and
currently one of a respondents of the case namely “Philippine Transmarine Carriers, Inc. and Stena
Marine Management PTE., LTD., vs Richiel P. Moreno POEA Case No DAW 18102831” filed with the
Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) in relation to the action who
committed by my co-employees who are also the respondents in the said case.

As one of the respondents in the said case, my consent in doing the said actions alleged in
the complaint was just based on the intimidation, force and undue influence from the other
respondents, who are also to be my superior. Being afraid to be left alone in the ship, I was
threatened by the other respondents to follow their order in abandoning the vessel. Hence, this
case arise.

I am writing this letter not to negate any actions that I made which were contrary to our
employment contract but to informed your good office that I am also a victim in this situation
due to duress and coercion I suffered from the other respondents.

I am willing to negotiate or make necessary compromise agreements to avoid the arduous

litigation or any administrative hearing that I might suffer because of other persons unlawful
actions.

I am hoping for your kind and favorable consideration.

Yours truly,

Richiel P. Moreno
