Lozova 2018
Lozova is a beautiful village situated in the center of Moldova, on the
Central Valley with unique landcape and nature. The village is surrounded
by the forests of the Nature Reserve Codrii. The relief is crossed by
numerous valleys and ravines. Namely, this traditional area is considered
to be typical for Moldova in a geographic and natural way. The whole
region is particularly picturesque and varied, it is distinguished by the
richness of the animal and vegetal world and the specificity of the relief
has created the impression of several researchers and guests of this region,
that the territory has a "mountainous" character.
The natural reserve '' Codrii'' amazes with the multitude of forms and
species of animals, many of which are categorized as rare and endagered.
There are more than 1,000 species of protected plants, representing half of
Moldova’s flora; 43 species of mammals; 145 species of birds; 7 species of

Clean and Healthy Nature

To keep our community clean and healthy is not easy but is the
responsability of each villager. For this, each villager throws away
the garbage evry two weeks when the tractor of the community
comes to the gate to pick up the trash from each household. So, in
our village people do not pollute anymore the soil and
underground water with unhealthy substances and the trash is not
burnt, keeping the air clean.
It is the duty of our community service to clean the trash cans
which you can find along the park and around the school and
kindergarten. Also, they maintain the rivers clean of trash and cut
the grass along the river bank.
NATURE is unique and we all have to take care of it. It's like a gift to be
cared for, otherwise it will disappear. I think if everyone of us were to be a
little more careful, nature would be happier!

In order to increase the order in our village, we must not throw plastic bags
and trash along the roads and generally to stop using them. It is better to
have a special bag for shopping or use biodegradable bags.
Also we must collect the used batteries in a special place because they are
very dangerous for our health.
We must stop our families burn the trash and leaves. The smoke contains a
little Carbon and this destroys the Ozone layer of Terra.
We shouldn't throw away the paper but to collect it and to sell it. In this
way we protect the forests of Codru. Anually thousands of trees are cut to
make new books and newspapers.
Finally, we should plant trees. As many as possible.
In our village we plant trees in the park and along the rivers every year in
spring and in autumn. These days we, the pupils, and the adults plant trees
in the park, on the river banks and along the roads of the village. Yearly
willows, pines, maples, birches and lindens are planted.
Planting trees is necessary for our flora and fauna surrounding the
village. Trees are a place with shadow for people and a home for birds and
some sort of animals who make their houses in the trees. The shell of the
trees is good food for animals like the hare, the deer, in winter. Trees are
necessary for the soil to prevent the natural disasters. And finally, they
produce oxigen for us and make the landscape green and unique.
