Introduction

There are various theoretical knowledge provides to us during the total academic course by

our faculties. All these theoretical knowledge from week one to week twelve can be well

understood if this theoretical knowledge can be combined with some organization operations

then it becomes more relevant. This programmes of various assignments on the topic research

literature lecture have helps me to understand the topic with a practical implementation. The

research project of Woolworths have helps me to understand various aspects of the business

operations along with the ability to analyse and identification of various data and information.

This leaning will help to for my future growth as it have not only helps me to understand the

theoretical knowledge those were taught to me by my faculty but also have helps to use those

leanings into an organizational context.

Week 1

What did you learn from the lecture slide?

I have learned the importance and types of business research methods and the elements that

are required in the research process. I have also learned the relationship between the theories

and research the ways both are connected and needs to be executed for the preparation of a

business research project.

How did you use it in the project?

I have used all the theories that I have learned in the lecture and have used it in the

preparation, formatting and developing the structure of the research project. I have

understood the various components that I required to learned and analyse for completing the

research project.

This leaning will help to for my future growth as it have not only helps me to understand the

What did you learn from the lecture slide?

I have learned to design and plan the research process from this lecture and have also learned

the various types of elements that are required in planning the appropriate research design for

the given topic in the previous assignment.

How did you use it in the project?

I have designed the research paper and have also planned the total research process that will

provide an in-depth knowledge of the organization. it is important to design and plan the

research process to generate the best possible outcome for the research project.

How it is useful in professional life?

The business operation, Human Resource operations, organizational structure and market

segment of an organization needs to be analysed from various primary and secondary

research sources. With the help of week two lecture I have learned to design and plan the

research process. So for my future if I do a job then this learning will help me to analyse the

current situation of my organization and also will me to analyse the competitor.

What did you learn from the lecture slide?

I have learned the importance of literature review and why and how it needs to be

documented in the research paper. I have also learned the ways to searching the literatures

and what are the approaches and from where the literature can be checked and used those as

references in preparing a plagiarism free business research report.

How did you use it in the project?

I have used the learning of these lecture slide in find various books, articles, websites and

journals that have helps me to understand various aspects of Woolworths. It has helped me to

develop an appropriate literature review and document those in appropriate business research

writing format.

How it is useful in professional life?

I have used various sources, tools and techniques to complete the research assignment

efficiently and all were done keeping in mind the ethics and legal consideration. No data and

information was directly copied everything was developed by me and in case of any kind of

references there was done in-texting and reface lint was provide for it.

How it is useful in professional life?

It will help to me to perform the various works in professional life with ethics and legal

consideration as it is important to be a person with ethics and legal knowledge. An

I have learned to uses the nature of qualitative research, sampling and participant observation

that will be used in condition the research for the project.

I have learned to use various data collection method that will help me to perform various

I was able to use the theories and nature of qualitative research and perform various

researches sampling this will defiantly help to in my future career options.

What did you learn from the lecture slide?

I have learned the process of Interviewing, Focus Groups and Language in qualitative

research that will help me to conduct and complete the research project efficiently.

How did you use it in the project?

The management needs to plan various business processes to ensure that all the departments

like sales, marketing, operations, logistics, finance, human resource, research and

development works efficiently. This was determined from the Interviewing the senior

managers.

How it is useful in professional life?

I have learned that to run an organization it is essential to manage and communicate all the

departments. So in me professional life I will focus on these aspects of communication to

ensure the organization I am working for runs smoothly.

After generation the data and information form the Interviewing, Focus Groups and

Language in qualitative research it is important to analyse those data and in week seven the

analyses was learned by me.

learning from qualitative data analysis I was able to analyse those data.

Analysing is one of the important factors in professional life as there re huge among of data

analytical skill that will help in future career development.

I have learned the nature and sampling in quantitative research and it will help me to develop

and prepare the sampling size for the research project

How did you use it in the project?

I have developed the sampling size of the project and have also selected and contacted

various people for collecting the samples to provide the inside information about Woolworths

to ensure the data are authentic and trustworthy.

How it is useful in professional life?

In personal life it is essential to identify the sampling size as too less sampling size might not

provide the appropriate result for the research project and appropriate people needs to be

contacted to ensure that the research is successful. I have learned all these techniques that will

I have learned to structured interviewing and questionary design from the lecture slide.

How did you use it in the project?

It is important to develop appropriate questions for the interview and questionnaire as any

wrong question will not only waste the time but will not provide any values to the research

project that I was preparing.

How it is useful in professional life?

The length and questions needs to be appropriate designed to ensure that what are required

can be identified and the length should be appropriate. I have learned all these techniques that

will defiantly help foe the future growth and development process.

I have learned that to structure the observational and analyse the content of the data and

information gained form the interview and questionnaire data collection method.

How did you use it in the project?

I have analysed the primary data collection method with the helped of various interviews and

circulating the questionnaire. After receiving the data it needs to be analyses with an in depth

observation to analyse the content and determine the appropriate outcomes for the research

project.

amount of data and information those are available through these secondary data collection

method are huge so it is helped me to identify and determine the appropriate data.

To conduct the research for this project various secondary data were required to be analysed

those are available on the internet, books, journals, articles and websites.

It is essential to have the ability to filter these data and relevant and authentic data and

I have learned to use both quantitative and qualitative research method with the help of mixed

methods of research.

How did you use it in the project?

Only one research might not always be helpful to complete the research project efficiently.

So there is a requirement of condition both types of research to determine the best possible

outcome for the research project.

How it is useful in professional life?

Knowing both the techniques and the ability to use only one or both according to the

requirement of the outcomes was learned by me and will defiantly hep me to grow in the

future.

I have learned to use various data collection method that will help me to perform various

research data collection methods. In general life the value of an individual is measures with

the learning and experience an individual have gained all throughout the life span. In future if

I do a job or open my own business then this learning will help me to analyse the current
