 Has your research into the differences between public sector and
private sectors jobs and self employment altered your career decision
making or reinforced it? Explain.

My research has reinforced my career decision making. I never wanted

to be self employed, and my career options don’t really allow for that
anyway. I always would rather work in the Public sector, because of
what I’ve learned from my parents, who have worked in all three sectors
throughout their lifetime. In addition, my career choices mainly exists in
the public centre, while there are some other opportunities, I would not
get to do the kind of work within my job that I would like to do. Most of
this information makes the public sector seem like the best option, and
therefore this research has reinforced my career decision making.

 Which sector you would most prefer to work?

I would definitely most prefer to work in the public sector. Mainly

because the type of work I’d like to do within my job mainly exists within
the public sector when considering the differences between different
positions within the same job. In addition, people overall seem to
support the idea that working in the public sector is re reliable and less
stressful than working in the private sector, or for yourself if you aren’t
that type of person, which I am not.
