Description:

InfoMall DW is a Consumer Banking Data warehouse that houses data from the
SCB consumer banking transactional processing (TP) systems like Cards, Loans, Deposits,
Investments etc

The development of the following components are in the scope of TCS

· Data Staging Area
· System of Records (SOR)
· Summary & Analysis Area aka BST
This data warehouse will be created for 9 SCB operating countries MY, HK, ID, TH, BR, IN, PH,
SG and TW as independent instances. The aim is to build using a unified data model for all the
9 countries

The InfoMall DW application development in the scope of TCS consists of SOR loading (ETL-1),
GL reconciliation (GL-RECON), Summary (or BST) data loading (ETL-2), DB2 Data Staging
Area and Metadata capture applications respectively.
Responsibilities:

 Preparing Mapping Documents.

 Design, Build & Test parallel jobs to extract files from Main Frame files
using Complex Flatefile stage.
 Developed simple & complex Datastage.
 Used the Datastage stages Complex Flat File,Copy, Modify, Lookup,
Transformer, Sort, Funnel, Column Generator, Row Generator, Join,
Dataset, Merge, Aggregator, Sequential file, Remove Duplicates,Data
Set.
 Design, Build & Test sequencer jobs to run all the parallel jobs
(Extract, Transform, Load).
 Preparing Test cases.
 Work with sequencers.

 Developed SCD’s by using transformer stage, stored procedure stages,
change capture stage, remove duplicate stage to populate the Data into Data
warehouse.
 Created Batches and sequences to schedule the jobs.
 Involved in Testing for preparing Unit Test cases and Test data.
 To follow some techniques to improve performance tuning.
