Much is being said and being written about white magic and black magic, about
the right-hand path and about the left-hand path. Whatever your opinions on this
subject are, you will have to admit that the two overlap to quite an extent. Only
at the extremes are the lines drawn very clearly.
Let us consider first the pure and totally incorruptible white magician. This
person will obey the rule ‘do not harm an^Tody’. If that is taken to its extreme
then he will never fight back, never retaliate, never seek revenge or justice. He
will be at the mercy of everybody, always offer the other cheek, be meek and
submissive. If everybody was like that then there would be no problem; this world
would be a nice place to live in. Unfortunately reality is different, and if you wish
to live like that then you will never possess anything because others will forever
take it away. It is often said that during the Middle Ages the barons lived by one
single rule: ‘What’s mine is mine and what’s yours is mine too if I am strong
enough to take it.’ Not much has changed since.
At the other end we find the extreme black magician. This is a person who has
only two interests in life: power and himself Whatever he wants he gets, using all
possible means. He does not care about anybody else, he has no conscience, he
just furthers his owm interests. If that means harming others then so be it. Material
possessions play a big role in his life. He will not hesitate to place strong curses
on all those who thwart him. At times it is sufficient to disagree wdth such a person
to suffer this fate. If you care to look around you then you might think that many
so-called businessmen are black sorcerers or behave as such. You are right! They
do not care about the misery they inflict, about the dishonest deals they make,
about the worthless junk they sell; all they care about is the money they get. You
find people who behave like that socially: if they see a woman they like then they
will use all possible means to get her. Once their desire has been satisfied they
drop her. If in the process they have destroyed a marriage, an engagement or any
other relationship they do not care. They will simply put the blame onto the other
person.
As a magician it is up to you to decide how far you wish to go in either direction.
The only thing you should remember is that you yourself are responsible for your
own actions and their consequences. Do not blame the writers of grimoires
(magical textbooks) or of other books; you yourself are making the choice!
Whilst we were writing this book we received many comments, mostly
concerned with why we should not be writing this. Our reply w'as very simple: for
over forty years we have been white magicians and behaved like real
fundamentalists. Where did it lead us? Nowhere! Most of those we did things for,
whom we taught, whom we helped, turned their backs on us. They had what they
wanted and why should they care, or even remain sociable? Until recently we never

fought back and lived as harmless meek people to whom one could do anything.
As our philosophy we strictly followed the rule ‘harm nobody’ and could be
considered to be nearly fundamentalistic. However, there comes a time when one
reflects upon this. A periodical revision of the Kabbalah made us suddenly see the
light: we also have the duty to look after ourselves. That does not mean that we
have become ruthless black sorcerers. But now we help people by returning curses,
by seeking justice, and if the latter could be considered as revenge then so be it.
We are very much at ease with our own conscience. Why should we let other people
gel away with murder? Now we fight back!
Just consider the Christian creed, the one which states clearly and unequivo-
cally that one must offer the other cheek. Then look at what this church has been
doing, and is still doing today, to further its own ambitions. These ambitions have
very little to do with religion, they are more about power and money than about
anything else. How many of the so-called Christians live by their creed? Half of
one percent? Not even that. One of these pillars of the church put it to us very
clearly when he told us, ‘It is said of me that in business I am cunning, crafty,
unscrupulous, treacherous, foxy and untrustworthy. My reply to this is that God
gave me these capabilities to use. After all, business is business. I live my private
life in a different manner.’ This very devout person lives in a house about which
ordinary people can only dream. He makes most of his money by driving other
people into bankruptcy and stripping the assets. He has acquired money and power.
You can draw your own conclusions from that.
We have no qualms about giving you the means to defend yourself Too much
black magic is going on today and we feel that it is about time that people are given
the means to defend themselves. If in the process they go too far and they become
like that themselves then that is not our fault. Our conscience is clear.
Those who wish to comment on the rituals themselves should keep in mind
that these rituals are those practised on the continent. This explains why they
differ very much from the British tradition.
One final word: This is not a book for the weak-hearted!
We have not described blood-sacrifices, there is no killing and there are neither
debaucheries nor perversions. What will be found in this book is sexual activity
and very hard and ruthless intentions. But then, the title makes this very clear:

HOW TO EQUIP YOURSELF
Those who think that they will need a lot of paraphernalia are mistaken. You need
just about what every magician needs. The implements which you will be using
are very simple and you can carry these with you in a small bag.
What you need can be purchased; there is no need to make everything yourself.
Do not think that everything has to be black; that again is a widespread belief
w'hich is totally mistaken. Some paraphernalia have to be black, but if that is the
case then we mention this clearly and unambiguously. We clearly distinguish
between tools and what we call consumables. The latter are used up and need
replacing from time to time.
TOOLS
INCENSE BURNER
You will be using incense which is burned on charcoal, not sticks. There are a
variety of incense burners available on the market. Choose what you wish. Most
of these are in brass and can be found in Indian shops or New-Age shops. Some
so-called ethnic shops supply these too. They are not difficult to find.
RECEPTACLES
You will need a receptacle for water and one for salt. Some use chalices for that,
others use ordinary glasses, with or without a stem. It does not matter w'hat they
are or what they are made of If you wish to splash out then feel free to do so. There
is an undisputed advantage in using nice things: it looks better and it seems that
you will also be performing better, but we leave that up to you. What you will also
need is a small bowl to collect ashes and a bit of water.
CANDLESTICKS
You will be using up to five candles. There is no need to buy expensive brass
candlesticks. Even a bottle or a saucer will do. Again, this is a matter of choice.
CORD
This has to be black. First of all you need a piece of cord w'hich fits around your
loins and is fastened wuth a knot. You will also need three pieces which are about
five feet in length. We found that ordinary curtain cords suit the purpose very
well. You will have to tie a knot at the ends to stop them from fraying. Alternatively
you can roll some sticky tape around the ends. Do not attempt to splice the ends:
silk will not hold.

KNIFE
You need one knife with a black handle. If you do not find it then paint the handle
black yourself. Those who have plenty of money can purchase a Scottish Skeean
Dhu (black knife) which is what a Scotsman will wear in his hose. They come in
all varieties and prices and are beautifully finished with silver and a gem stone.
The choice is yours.
MAGIC SYMBOLS
During some rituals you will need to draw some magical symbols. You should
always have a model in front of you, so that you make no mistakes. These magical
symbols should be drawn in black, on white paper. Some purists insist that they
are drawn on parchment or vellum, but that is not necessary; it is a relic from the
Middle Ages. What these symbols represent is explained later. For the time being
just make sure that you have paper and ink available. As you will be using some
of these symbols frequently we suggest that you choose a strong paper.
CONSUMABLES
CANDLES
The only candles which you will use are black. Some shops of household materials
sell these in boxes and they are cheap. If you w’ish to buy expensive hand-made
ones then that is your choice.
CHARCOAL
This IS used to burn incense. Buy the self-igniting tablets, they only take one match
to light. It is useful to have a pair of pliers handy to hold the tablets whilst you are
lighting them, otherwise you often burn your fingers.
INCENSES
The incenses used in this type of magic are not commercially available. Most can
easily be made from ordinary plants and household herbs. Never forget that in the
days of old there were no imports of exotic materials and people made do with
what they had available. In this form of magic things are still the same, but it is
not difficult to find what you need and it is also easy to make your own incenses.
All you can buy commercially is frankincense and myrrh. There is a chapter on
incenses further on.
SALT
The commercially available salt as used in the kitchen or at the table is not suitable
It contains other chemicals, the so-called anti-caking ingredients, to stop it from
forming lumps in humid conditions. What you need is pure natural salt. Any
health shop sells this kind of thing. If you have a choice then opt for sea-salt. Keep
it separate and do not use it for anything else.

WATER
Experience has shown that in man)' cases ordinary tap water does not work. You
should obtain some pure spring water. This is not difficult because you can find
this in any store and supermarket. Keep it separate and do not use it for anything
else.
Before you use any of the implements and consumables they must be consecrated
Consecrated implements are stored in a safe place, out of reach, because they can
only be used by you yourself. During the consecration you have placed a curse on
anybody who touches your tools without your permission, and this curse will work.
If you work with someone else then make it clear that this person is allowed to
use your tools and say so explicitly. Keep everything together in one box or case.
It makes it easier to find everything before you start a ritual.

MAGICAL SYMBOLS
During the rituals you will use magical symbols. At times they are burned, buried
or destroyed in some other way. Sometimes they are sent away. You should be able
to draw these when you need them. In order to do so properly and without making
mistakes we suggest that you prepare a model for each. You can then take this
model with you in the circle and work from that. You will be using three types of
figures. A brief description is given with each.

The planets influence all magical work. Although it could be assumed that
everybody knows the symbols used for the planets we have repeated them here,
together with a brief description of their influences and their uses.

THE SEALS
You will use several seals during your rituals. Explaining their origin and meaning
would lead us much too far. Some seals will protect you, other seals will attack
other people. Some seals, when used properly, can be lethal! Those who are
interested
in the origin of the seals and w'ho wish to find more information are referred to
the vast literature on the subject.
Often Greek letters are placed in the pentagrams or hexagrams. Details of these
can be found in the descriptions of the various rituals.

THE SYMBOLS OF POWER
The symbols of power have long been unknown, except to a select few. There are
many more that we will use in this book. They should be treated with respect. Just
like the demons described below, these are not things which you execute nicely
and then frame to hang on the wall. You may get more than you bargain for!
Symbols of power are used during rituals to raise pow'er. Nobody can explain
how they work, but their presence gives the ritual extra pow’er and makes it more
effective. They are used in various rituals for the purpose indicated underneath
each symbol.
You should only use these symbols of power as directed. Do not experiment
on your own because you cannot foresee the results.

THE DEMONS
Demons are not things which are only found in old wives’ tales. Even the
theologians of the Christian churches today take them very seriously. This is not
the place to go into detail and describe their attributes. It is sufficient to draw their
symbols and to use them. A very brief description is given with each symbol.
Again, there are many more than those which you will use. Let this, for the
moment, be sufficient. You should not make use of those entities who once they
have been unleashed can no longer be controlled by the uninitiated or the novice.

THE ALPHOMEG
The Alphomeg are groups of letters or figures which form very powerful squares.
The term (always used in the plural) seems to have been derived from the Greek
words Alpha and Omega, which are the first and the last letters of the Greek
alphabet. The origin of the term, just like the origin of the Alphomeg themselves,
is steeped in mystery and has been lost in the course of many centuries.
In rituals the Alphomeg are used like the seals.

STATEMENTS AND INVOCATIONS
Apart from the invocations proper there are also statements of power, of intention
and of faith. All three statements form an integral part of each ritual, so it is useful
to copy them all on the same sheet of paper.
During a ritual you will invoke some entities. These can be forces, demons,
etc. Some people might call these invocations prayers, although that is not entirely
correct. The invocations vary from ritual to ritual. Which one to use is made clear
in the description of each ritual.
There are also some proper prayers to the dark forces. These too vary from
ritual to ritual and they are used as indicated in the descriptions of the rituals.

INCENSES
The incenses used in this type of magic do not smell particularly nice. Those who
wish to improve the smell can add 1 part frankincense or myrrh. Do NOT use any
other resinous incense. The intention of the incense is to contribute to the frame
of mind of the person performing the ritual. Recent scientific research has made
discoveries which substantiate this point; incenses and other smells influence the
working of the brain. There are only four incenses involved. All the ingredients
are easily available. All you have to do is look for them, because the plants you
need can be found anywhere. The recipes are as follows:

DRESS
Purists will say that in this type of magic there is no choice of dress. You are naked.
All you wear is a black cord around your loins, tied with a reef-knot. If you are
performing the ritual outside then you can also wear a pair of sandals, nothing
else. If weather is inclement then you either suffer it or you await more favourable
circumstances. If you do not want to do this then wear a robe, preferably black.
The most important reason for being undressed is to be able to feel united with
the elements. You stand or sit on the earth, you are surrounded by the air, the
warmth of the fire (sun, moon or candle) can reach you and you can make direct
contact with water if you wish to do so. There are other reasons too. Amongst the
many, one is worth mentioning: the underlying process of revolt, grown during
many centuries of suppression, against the edicts of the traditional Western
churches who declared anything which had any connection with the body or with
sex to be sinful and forbade it.
The cord which you wear around your loins symbolizes your link with the
universe. It also symbolizes your own personal link with the forces which you will
call upon and which you will use. No real magician will ever perform a ritual
without such a cord. Before you ‘dress’ for a ritual you must clean yourself. Have
a bath or have a shower. If you perform with someone else then you have a bath
together. If that creates some form of sexual arousal, so much the better, because
when you perform rituals with partners they should always end with some form
of sexual activity. That again is part and parcel of this kind of magic. This time,
however, the reasons should not be laid squarely at the door of the various churches.
The origin of this custom goes back thousands of years, right back to the old
fertility rites.
We mentioned that each ritual performed with a partner must end with some
form of sexual activity. This can take any form you like. At times it is necessary
to follow certain rules. There are rituals where it is necessary to achieve an orgasm,
whether you are alone or with a partner. In some instances, and this will be pointed
out clearly, it is necessary to achieve this outside penetration. If that is the case
then you must interrupt at the right moment. Experienced magicians have
practised a form of sexual intercourse where they achieve full penetration and keep
this up, without moving, for as long as possible. The amount of energy thus raised
is enormous. They will, if necessary, interrupt at the last moment. The only thing
to remember is that you are dealing with a form of magic which is not kind and
gentle. Your sexual activity should reflect that. This does not mean that one must
inflict pain. Use your own imagination and if you find that difficult then start
by not using too nice a language. Finally, in this t\"pe of magic there is no need
to restrict sexual activity to your own permanent partner. Anybody who agrees
will do.

THE CIRCLE
It is of the utmost importance that you learn to draw this circle properly. If you
do not wish to do so then you can paint it on a cloth or on any other suitable
material. Many magicians do this to save the time needed to construct the circle.
The diameter of the inner circle is minimum 9ft. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT
YOU DRAW THE CIRCLE ANTI-CLOCKWISE!

The letters a to e are the segments where certain words (the words of power)
have to be written. They should be written as if from the centre of the circle, so
that they can be read easily by someone standing in the middle, by the simple
expedient of turning around. Be precise in this, otherwise your magic will only
partly work, not work at all or even turn against you. These are the words to be
written:
a: HALLYA
b: BALLATER
c: HALLY
d: BELLONY
e: TETRAGRAMMATON
You will have recognized the triangle above the circle as the Triangle of
Solomon.
This is where demons and other spectres will appear. They must always remain
in this triangle. Some will use all possible means, including turning into a very
attractive (usually naked) woman, to try and entice you to them, and make you
leave your circle. If you do so then you are lost. The circle and triangle at the
bottom are protective. The one at the bottom is also used for people and objects
which are not allowed inside the circle.
NEVER LEAVE THE CIRCLE DURING A RITUAL!
The writing in the central pentagon (SOLUZEN/aco)must always be the same.
In the spaces marked 1 to 5 and in the spaces marked A to B (in that order)
you draw the Seals, the Symbols of Power, the Demons and the Alphomeg which
you are using.
These vary for each ritual.
Again, be very precise, otherwise ...

HOW TO PERFORM A RITUAL
Before you do anything else you must gather everything you need. All your
implements should be in one place. Nothing is more infuriating than having to
find out who borrowed a candlestick and who placed the incense burner on his
mantelpiece. You must remember that you placed a curse on these implements
and that those who use them will suffer.
What you need for every ritual is clearly stated at the beginning of each
summary.

PREPARATIONS
If you work with a partner then you can make all the preparations together. Before
you start you take both hands of your partner in yours and say:
Draw the circle or lay it out if you have made a permanent one on cloth or
other material. Do not forget the Triangle of Power and the Triangle of
Solomon.

Fill a receptacle with salt and place it in the centre of the circle.

Place the five candles in the candlesticks.
Place one candle at each cardinal point (South, East, West, North) between
the inner and the outer circle. Place another candle in the centre of the
circle.
Place your knife in the centre of the circle.
Light the charcoal and place it in the burner. Place the latter in the centre of
the circle.
Place the appropriate incense in the centre of the circle.
Place all your copies (statements, invocations, prayers, thanksgivings and
pictures) in the centre of the circle. They should be put in a pile in the order
in which you will use them.
Place your cord in the centre of the circle.
Have a bath. If you work with a partner then you should have a bath together.
When you have finished you should kiss and create some form of sexual arousal
before starting the ritual.
Enter the circle and recite with a loud and clear voice the statement of the
closing of the circle:

This statement has been repeated here because it forms an integral part of the
preparations. It is not considered to be part of the ritual proper.
Now, and only now, do you put your cord around your loins. If you work with
a partner then you should do this for each other. It is customary to stroke your
partner whilst you are doing so.
You can now start the ritual proper.
THE RITUAL
The only thing you have to learn is to cast a pentagram. You will always cast the
same pentagram, the inverted one. Start at 1 and continue through 2, 3, 4 and 5
back to 1. Then, without interrupting, cast the circle from 1 to 6 in an anti-
clockwise direction. You should practise this because you will need to do this many
times. These pentagrams are cast standing up and with the right hand.
You must also learn to do the same with the thumb of your right hand. This
method is used for small objects which you hold in the left hand or which are lying
in front of you. Think of the way a priest makes a small cross with his thumb over
some object and you will get the idea.
All further details are mentioned on each and every ritual sheet. Follow the in
instructions, be precise in wording and in action and you will perform a perfect
ritual. If you slip up, albeit only once, then you should not expect any results.

THE INVOCATION OF THE ELEMENTAL POWERS
Every ritual starts with the Invocation of the Elemental Powers. Every time one
of the Powers is invoked the candle for that Power is lit. These candles are placed
between the two circles, one to the South, one to the East, one to the North and
one to the West. Having lit the candle you prepare and then place the implement
which belongs to that Power. This is done as a form of offering by lifting it up
with both hands. Your hands and the tool should be well above your head. You
will notice that this invocation consists of four parts, addressing respectively
South, East, North and West.
HOW IT IS DONE
Whilst you are saying the part about the South you make a pentagram as explained
previously. You make this pentagram with both hands holding the knife. What
you say is:

When you have said the part about the East:
a. Light the candle standing to the East of you.
b. Take the incense burner from the centre and place it in the East, as close as
possible to the inner circle.
c. Place some incense in the burner. The charcoal should have been lit during
the preparations.
d. Lift it up with both hands above your head, as an offering.
