Connection
l When the fiber is used to connect the RRU and BBU, one end of the fiber is connected
to the OPT1 port of the ZXSDR R8881 and the other end is connected to the optical
connector of the BBU.
l When the fiber is used for RRU cascading, one end of the fiber is connected to the
OPT2 port of the upper-layer ZXSDR R8881 and the other end is connected to the
OPT1 port of the lower-layer ZXSDR R8881.
4-5
l When the fiber is used to connect the RRU and the ODF, one end of the fiber is
connected to the OPT1 port of the ZXSDR R8881 and the other end is connected to
the optical connector of the ODF.
Figure 4-8 shows the external view of the external MON interface cable.
End A is mounted with an 8-pin round plug. End B needs to be mounted with an
appropriate connector on site in accordance with the connector type of the external device
to be connected. The cable is a 10-core cable and the length is customized in accordance
with an engineering contract.
Signal Description
