Title of Research Proposal

Innovation has been identified as a major factor for success and sustainability and especially for quality education and
economic growth. Therefore, governments, organizations, and firms have understood the importance of innovation and
have made progress in implementing it. However, the achievement motivation to learn innovation has not been studied
extensively. Hence, as a developmental goal of developing countries like Pakistan, the problem needs to be well
identified and policies needed to integrate achievement motivation for learning innovation.

Therefore investigating the topic, “Integrating Achievement motivation with learning Innovation: A social development
perspective”, with following problems is worth to be studied:
•How can we integrate the achievement motivation factor with innovation learning and harness innovation for social
development?
•What are the factors for achievement motivation towards learning innovation?

Statement of Purpose
The biggest gift ever one could give to someone whom he/she love is wisdom and education; my father gave me that.
Working as a Lecturer in a university located in a far-flung area, I feel myself responsible, accountable and content that I
am contributing in the shape of providing knowledge to the local community where the people are expecting me to
contribute.
My father as a doctor and educationist, told me in theory and practice, what the real meaning of education is. From the
primary to my MPhil degree, the path of higher education became clearer to me when I stepped up the ladder, studying
in a boarding school, then going to other province to study further, getting admission in a very reputable institute
(International Islamic University Islamabad) in the capital city of Pakistan, completing my masters and then after working
as a Management Consultant in a foreign country(UAE), coming back to my local country and serving as Lecturer in
Management Sciences has been a learning journey.
As a resource person for enterprise development training to the United Nation's agency, Food And Agricultural
Organization (FAO), I am looking forward for a way out to help the local communities to increase their production of
farms and market it to national and international markets through using innovation as a useful tool. The teaching
experience of Entrepreneurship course and this interest in innovation has made me motivated to pursue my research as
a PhD candidate in Innovation and achievement motivation.
I would like to take this opportunity for higher education to well equip myself to intensive and rigorous research
techniques so that I could earn a valuable PhD degree with research excellency. Besides the above benefits, a foreign
PhD would also enable me to study the culture and knowledge base of foreign countries, analyze the causes of their
success and competitiveness in the world, which would eventually help me gain very useful insights into the latest
research perspectives and developments.
Through the higher education, I can gain a deep and vast knowledge of the field. The pursuit of higher education will
enhance my knowledge about research. After achieving a PhD degree, I could discover and apply new knowledge to
the field. It will enable me to understand complex issues and trends in the field and hence propose viable solutions to
complex problems through developing my critical thinking.
While studying deeply the concepts and techniques of research writing and publishing during my PhD, I could publish
best research papers in my field of study. Hence, it would help me in winning different sorts of projects which could
enhance my professional image and the image of my institution and my beloved country.
