IELTS EXAM PRACTICE COURSE

(INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE TESTING SYSTEM)

GENERAL INFORMATION: FOR PEOPLE INTERESTED IN THE IELTS TEST

The BRITÁNICO offers the IELTS EXAM PRACTICE COURSE to people who want to take the
IELTS Test to go to study or live in an English speaking country.

The aim of this course is to help candidates get familiar with the IELTS test, its modules and parts
(number and type of questions, time for each part of the test, etc) by doing sample practice exam
under the teacher’s supervision.

The IELTS consists of two modules:

- Academic
- Training

Both tests cover all four language skills: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.

ABOUT THE COURSE

Daily 18 sessions of 1 ½ hours 27 hours

Saturday 7 sessions of 3 ½ hours 24.5 hours

each

REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN THE COURSE

- Level of English: INTERMEDIATE as a minimum

MATERIALS

- Students use a book for the lessons.

- They also have access to an online platform for self-study.

EVALUATION

- This course is for EXAM FAMILIARISATION and PRACTICE only. Students are not given
a PASS/ FAIL mark.
- You will not receive a specific mark for your Writing or Speaking work. However, you will
receive feedback from your teacher with comments/ suggestions to improve your
performance in each part of the test.
