TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The minimum deposit is payable before the start of term. Late payment will incur an administration fee of
£10.00. The balance of the account is payable in full by half term. Payment is by cash, cheque or bank
transfer. Payment in smaller instalments is only by arrangement with the office. Pupils’ names must be
written on the back of all cheques and cash payments must be placed in a sealed envelope with the pupil’s
name written on the front.
2. There are no refunds for missed classes but these can be made up at an alternative day or time. There is
a discount for siblings.
3. We do not issue invoices for each new term. Payment details with instructions are issued at the end of each term.
4. Chrystel Arts uniform is compulsory for all classes. New pupils must purchase the correct uniform when
they have completed their trial classes. All uniform is available to order from the office. If pupils persist in
coming to class inappropriately dressed, the teacher will inform the parent and has the right to exclude the
pupil from class. Hair should be tied back and jewellery kept to a minimum.
5. Please ensure that your child goes to the toilet before class.
6. Parents are not permitted to watch classes unless invited. This is for child protection and health and safety reasons.
7. Please keep your belongings with you at all times and do not bring items of value to class as Chrystel Arts
will not accept responsibility for loss or damage to property.
8. Chrystel Arts endeavours to ensure that your children are in a safe and comfortable environment. The main
doors are open for 10 minutes between classes. Outside of these times, they will be locked and pupils and
parents will need to use the side door and ring the bell for entry. Please do not exit through the main doors
during class times.
9. Parking is, and always will be, an issue in Edgware. Pupils can be dropped off and collected by car when
the main doors are open. There is always a chaperone on duty. Please attempt to pull off from the road and
do not park in front of the building.
10. Pupils under the age of 16 years are not permitted to leave the premises without prior written consent
from a parent or guardian.
11. Please ensure any changes to pupils’ details are provided in writing to the office. All information is kept in
the strictest confidence and will not be passed on to outside parties.
12. We expect all pupils to behave with discipline and respect, particularly towards members of staff.
Bad language and inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and we reserve the right to request the removal
of any pupil from any class at any time for breaches of discipline.
13. Chrystel Arts does not discriminate on background, race or religion.
14. It may be necessary for staff to use physical contact when helping to improve pupils’ posture or assist
in movement.
15. Mobile phones must be switched off during classes. Smoking is not permitted in or around the building at any time.

By enrolling my child at Chrystel Arts, I confirm that I accept the above Terms and Conditions. These Terms
and Conditions apply with or without signature. Attendance of classes is taken as acceptance of our terms of
business and assumes liability for fees.
