• Certificates issued by DepEd in the last three
years were accepted for renewal of PIC
without the need for application under self
directed learning.
2. Voluminous applications for accreditation as
CPD Providers, of programs and self directed
learning received by PRC.

• developed the CPD Accreditation System


(CPDAS) which will enable applicants to apply
online for accreditation as CPD Providers and
Programs and online approval by the CPD
Councils.
3. Resistance from some professionals to
comply with the CPD requirements.
• Conduct consultations and campaign through
the use of multimedia resources regarding the
implementation of CPD.
• PRC exercises maximum flexibility in the
implementation to ensure its affordability and
accessibility.
4. Difficulty of professionals in the regions access to CPD
seminars and programs.

• CPD providers encourages to provide online CPD Programs.


• More accredited professional organizations are offering
programs for free.
• Private institutions are applying as providers and offer in
house trainings as programs for CPD units
• More activities have been offered that can earn CPD units
(medical missions, participation in PRC committees, other
activities recommended by PRC CPD councils.
5. Involvement of the government agencies and
the private sectors.
• In house training and seminars of accredited
government institutions and private
companies may be applied and are credible as
CPD units.
