NOTICE INVITING TENDER

KP-TEVTA, intends to undertake the developmental works with the prime emphasis on transparency and quality
of work, sealed tender on percentage Above / below up to two (2) decimal digits (0.00) on Engineering cost estimate
based on MRS-2017 are hereby invited from eligible contractor / Firms registered with PEC for the year 2018-19 in
specified Codes by PEC for the following Works.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

BOQ and other bid documents can be obtained on written request from the office of the under signed on
providing fee written against each project (Non-Refundable) for each work / Package, payable in KP-TEVTA
account, Bank of Khyber A/C# 06566, Civil Secretariat Peshawar or in cash, and submit the deposit slip with
written request for obtaining the tender documents. Immediately after publishing of advertisement in
newspaper up to 04th February 2019.

1. Tender documents should be complete in all respect, an incomplete documents / BOQ will not be acceptable for
Consideration
2. The following documents are required to be submitted with the application/Tender form.
i) Earnest money to the extent of 2% in the shape of call deposit in favor of Managing Director (KP-TEVTA)
must be accompanied with the bidding documents.
ii) CNIC Copy of the bidder.
iii) Copy of Registration and renewal of “PEC” of the CFY (2018-19).
iv) Copy of Registration with KPRA and FBR.
3. Bidder found with bogus documents, their tenders will be rejected and their cases will also be forwarded to the
higher ups for black listing.
4. In case the Contractor quoting below rates more than 10% on Engineer cost estimate the contractor will have to
deposit additional security in the form of call deposit equal to 8% of the engineering estimated cost. Otherwise the
tender will be considered as non-responsive.
5. Any Cutting/ overwriting or Incomplete BOQ will liable for rejection for the tender and bid may be declared
defective.
6. Incomplete / or unsigned BOQ/Tender Documents will be considered as defective /non responsive.
7. Sealed bids sent through registered mail courier or by hand should reach to the office of the Director (P&D/Works),
KP-TEVTA Head Office on the above cited date Up-to 10:30AM and will be opened on the same day at 11:00AM in
Presence of bidders who choose to attend the opening. The delay in delivery of the tender document will be the
responsibility of the bidder.
8. All applicable taxes including (Federal and Provincial Taxes) etc. shall be deducted from the bill of the
contractor/firms at prescribe rates Notified by the Govt. from time to time.
9. The firm/Contractor should be register with Sales Tax/Income tax/KP-Revenue authority and regular tax payer. The
bids should be supported with certificates/testimonials.
10. The competent authority reserves the right to cancel any bid by assigning cogent reason/reasons.
