42- Hazrat Mir Syed Mohammad Ahmad Siddiq Shah, Qutb al Aqtaab, Sultan ul Sindh, Saif ul

Qalaam, al Maroof Qatil Shah, Qudosullah Sirrahulaziz.

Roza Pak: Eid Gah Maidaan, Bunder (M.A. Jinnah) Road, near Memon Masjid, Karachi, Pakistan.
Wisaal: 28 Safar ul Muzaffar 1370 AH, 9 December, 1950.

His Blessed name was Hazrat Syed Mir Mohammad Siddiq ‫دحمت ا علے‬, Al Muqallib ba Hazrat Qatil,
Al Maroof Saif ul Kalaam, Kunniat Abul Qasim and was commonly known as Hazrat Pir Qatil
Lakhnavi Sumal Ajmeri ‫ دحمت ا علے‬. He was born on 14th January, 1855 CE in Luckhnow, India. His
respected Father's name was Hazrat Mir Syed Yackub Ali ‫ دحمت ا علے‬, descended from Ala Hazrat
Qazi Syed Ali Hamdani Mashadi ‫ دحمت ا علے‬who came to India to spread the message of Islam along
with Hazrat Syedna Miraan Syed Hussain Jung Sawar ‫ دحمت ا علے‬and stayed in Taraghar, Ajmer
Shareef. He was descended from the Fatimi Syeds through Hazrat Ismail ‫ دحمت ا علے‬, son of Hazrat
Imam Jafar Sadiq ‫ دحمت ا علے‬. He received his early religious education at home and then from Ajmer
Shareef. After obtaining a full education he determined to continue the teaching of Islam in order to
benefit the common people. During the very early part of his career a strange episode took place. A
person used to come to him in order to obtain knowledge, he studied assidously but could not
memorize even a single word. One day a person came to the Hazrat with an appeal and presented some
money as Nazar. Hazrat told him that he did not accept anything from anyone as Nazar. The person
insisted and said that he had heard that if a 'Nazar' (Pious Offering) was presented to a Syed any
approaching calamity would be averted and Allah ‫ هسببلحاَنلهه لوتللعاَللىى‬would Bless the donor. The previous
student was listening to this discourse and quietly approached the Hazrat. “Please accept this 'Nazar' as
Allah ‫ هسببلحاَنلهه لوتللعاَللىى‬will have Mercy on this individual and relieve him of his trouble. The Hazrat
accepted the 'Nazar' and the individual told him his problem by stating that he was in the Military and
had been accused of a crime that he did not commit. “I have been tried in a Military Court and have
been found guilty, I have appealed to the Military Commander and if my appeal is rejected, I will have
to undergo prison.” Before the Hazrat could say anything the student said: “Go, you will not be
imprisoned, you will not be imprisoned, you will not be imprisoned!” The Hazrat remained quiet and
days passed by. The appeal was rejected and the appellant was to be imprisoned next morning. Word of
these circumstances spread around the City and people gathered next morning at the place of
commitment. Hazrat Mir Syed Mohammad Ahmad Siddiq Shah ‫ دحمت ا علے‬and his student were also
present and the Hazrat said to his student. “See, this poor fellow is going to be imprisoned.” The
student replied, “He will not be imprisoned.” As this was happening a horse and rider came galloping
up to the place and the rider ran towards the Senior Officers present on the occasion. The rider loudly
acclaimed the the accused has been forgiven and the sentence has been rescinded. The senior officer
read the dispatch and ordered that the prisoner should be released. The Hazrat asked his student as to
how he had predicted his freedom with such certainty. The student replied, “Why do you insist to know,
Allah ‫ هسببلحاَنلهه لوتللعاَللىى‬has been Merciful.” The Hazrat insisted and the student said that since you insist
here is the answer and took a blanket and put it over the Hazrat in such a manner that no outside light
could penetrate. The Hazrat saw a Grand gathering arrayed in splendor and a Bright Faced indvidual
enthroned with many venerable people dressed in Arab clothes in attendance. The student took Mir
Syed Mohammad Ahmad Siddiq Shah ‫ دحمت ا علے‬by his hand and introduced him to a venerable
personality and said “Hazur, this is my teacher and he was extremely desirous of attending this
gathering.” The student told the Hazrat that this is Hazrat Ali Karam Allah ‫ هسببلحاَنلهه لوتللعاَللىى‬Wajho. The
Hazrat bent his head in respect but could not speak a single word in awe and respect. Hazrat Ali Karam
Allah ‫ هسببلحاَنلهه لوتللعاَللىى‬. Wajhoo took Hazrat Qatil Shah ‫ دحمت ا علے‬by hand and presented him to the
personality who was enthroned saying that this is the Holy Prophet Hazrat Mohammad SwallAllah
‫ هسببلحاَنلهه لوتللعاَللىى‬Alaihe wa Aalayhe wa Swallim. The Holy Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬said, “O Ali I place him in your
charge.” Hazrat Ali ‫ كرم ا ووجهو‬turned towards another venerable person and said, “Abdul Qadir Jilani
I bestow his upkeep to you.” Hazrat Mehboob e Subhani, Qutb e Rabbani, Sarkar Ghaus ul Azam
Abdul Qadir Jilani ‫ دحمت ا علے‬, in turn took the Hazrat hand and turned towards Hazrat Ghareeb
Nawaz, Moinuddin Chisti ‫ دحمت ا علے‬and said, “I place him under you care'” Hazrat Qatil Shah ‫دحمت‬
‫ ا علے‬thought that as the gathering is appropriate, why should I not ask Hazrat Ghareeb Nawaz ‫دحمت‬
‫ ا علے‬to be Blessed with Ba'ait? The Hazrat submitted his earnest request to the Saint, Hazrat
Ghareeb Nawaz ‫ دحمت ا علے‬smiled and said that the appropriate time has not yet come. Hazrat
Ghareeb Nawaz ‫ دحمت ا علے‬took Hazrat Shah Qatil ‫ دحمت ا علے‬to one side, showed him another
venerable personality and said this is your Pir O Murshid. Hazrat Qatil Shah Sahib ‫ دحمت ا علے‬asked
Hazrat Ghareeb Nawaz ‫ دحمت ا علے‬if he should take Ba'ait immediately. Hazrat Ghareeb Nawaz ‫دحمت‬
‫ ا علے‬replied, “No the time of his enlightenment has not yet arrived and he is yet to take his place on
the Gaddi of Teaching, when the time comes he will be your Murshid.” Having said this Hazrat
Ghareeb Nawaz took Hazrat Qatil Shah ‫ دحمت ا علے‬back to the Holy Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬who awarded two
swords to the Hazrat, one red and one green. Hazrat Ghareeb Nawaz ‫ دحمت ا علے‬said, “You have been
placed in my charge and will continue receiving guidance from me as I have been placed in charge of
Hindustan.” This was all that he saw and his student removed the blanket and Hazrat Qatil ‫دحمت ا علے‬
returned to his everyday senses. Hazrat Qatil Shah ‫ دحمت ا علے‬asked his student as to who he was and
the student replied, “I am the Qutb (Pole) of this land.” Hazrat Sahib ‫ دحمت ا علے‬asked him that you
are the Qutb and yet cannot read the Holy Holy Qur'an?” The student replied, “I can not only read the
Holy Qur'an but am also a Hafiz (One who memorizes the Holy Holy Qur'an) ask me what you will, I
was placed in your company so that I could take you to the Holy Court of the incomparable Holy
Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬and now you can attend this Court youself. Now that my task is over I must depart.”
Having said this the former student disappeared. Hazrat Qatil Shah ‫ دحمت ا علے‬was in his early
manhood at this time.
Hazrat Sahib's ‫ دحمت ا علے‬father used to reside in Mohalla Makeri of Ajmer Shareef but then moved
to Mount Abu Whish is a famous hill in Rajputana. Here in Abu Road a certain Doctor Wilayat Hussain
Sahib used to reside. Hazrat's father used to visit the Doctor and take Hazrat ‫ دحمت ا علے‬along with
him. There is a famous saying that scent and love can never be kept hidden. The Doctor was attracted
towards Qibla Hazrat Sahib and used to feel disturbed whenever he left his presence. The traces of
Sainthood were evident even in his childhood. Doctor Sahib could not restrain himself and finally
requested Hazrat's father to leave the child with him as he was issue-less and promised to spend all his
wealth on imparting knowledge to the child as he was very well off. Qibla Hazrat Sahib's father agreed
and placed Hazrat Sahib ‫ دحمت ا علے‬in the Doctor's charge. As a result the good Doctor imparted
English and Medical training to Qibla Hazrat Sahib ‫ دحمت ا علے‬and then took him to Egypt to further
his studies. The Hazrat gained his diploma from Al Azhar University and after his qualification
returned to Hindustan. Hazrat's father then married the Hazrat to his brother in law's (Hazrat Sahib's
maternal uncle, Haji Syed Alauddin) daughter.
In 1904, Hazrat Sahib opened a Medical Store in Faqir Gunj, Ajmer Shareef. Hazrat Sahib was always
engaged in prayers and devotion and the affairs of the Medical Store were neglected, as a result the
Store was soon closed. Providence had in mind to make him a Doctor of spiritualism and not a healer
of the body. Despite being engaged in worship, Hazrat Sahib ‫ دحمت ا علے‬used to feel that something
was lacking and this greatly agitated his mind. This was the lack of a Spiritual Guide, he would
remember his presence in the Holy Court of the Holy Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬and feel the emptiness of his worship.
As a result he kept searching for his Murshid. When ever he heard of any Darvaish or Faqir, he would
straight away repair to his presence but could not discern the face that he had seen in his Vision. During
this time a Holy Saint Hazrat Shah Abdul Shakoor Luchnavi ‫ دحمت ا علے‬took up his abode in
Naseerabad Cantonment, Ajmer Shareef. Hazrat felt an urge to visit him and straight away saw that he
was the same Buzurg that he had been show by Hazrat Ghareeb Nawaz ‫ دحمت ا علے‬. Hazrat Qatil Shah
‫ دحمت ا علے‬took Ba'ait from his venerable hands and immediately felt his grace and a contentment
descended upon him. Hazrat ‫ دحمت ا علے‬would visit his Sheikh every day and out of deep respect
would remove his shoes when ever he entered the area of Naseerabad Cantonment. Hazrat Qibla ‫دحمت‬
‫ ا علے‬now spent all his time in worship and ignored the affairs of the world completely. One day he
visited his Shaikh and was told that he had not yet brought his Nafs (Ego) under control. Hazrat Syed
Mir Mohammad Siddiq ‫ دحمت ا علے‬spent all that night in sincere devotion and visited his Sheikh next
morning. Upon seeing him his Sheikh ‫ دحمت ا علے‬exclaimed, “You have brought your unruly Nafs
completely under control and killed every vestibule of the Nafs e Ammara Bil Su (Lower Self
Commanding to Evil) henceforth you will be called Qatil Shah (Killer) and Blessed him with the Robe
of Permission (Khilafat O Ijazat).
Hazrat Syed Mir Mohammad Siddiq ‫ دحمت ا علے‬now spent all his time in spreading the message of
Islam and visited many places all over India. Not only did he gather approximately 1,25,000 souls in
his Ba'ait but they were not restricted to only India, a large number of followers were present even in
Russia and other foreign Countries. At this time the Hindu fanatics, Aryan extremists started a
campaign in Rajputana and Ajmer Shareef called The Shudi Movement. Their followers would visit the
villages surrounding Ajmer Shareef and force the common Muslims to adopt their religion. As a result
the campaign gained strength and their false teaching spread far and wide. Hazrat Sahib ‫دحمت ا علے‬
saw that no Muslim Scholars were opposing this movement and thus he took up this task himself. He
used to visit far flung villages and spread the light of true faith and dispel the darkness of the Hindu
superstitions. He was so eloquent in his speech that his words would go straight to the hearts of his
audience. As a result not only the deceived Muslims but also many Hindus took to the fold of Islam,
amongst the Babu Shankar Prashad; Railway Officer Seth Sawa Laal; Merchant Seth Gona Laal Jaipuri
and Arjun Laal Shethi Jaipuri, who was a prominent leader of the Indian Congress and companion of
Mohan Das Gandhi took repentance at the hands of Hazrat Syed Mir Mohammad Siddiq ‫ دحمت ا علے‬.
As soon as Arjun Laal became a Muslim their was great uproar amongst the rank and file of the Hindus
and urgent meetings were called. They decided to oppose the efforts of Hazrat Syed Mir Mohammad
Siddiq ‫ دحمت ا علے‬otherwise a day will come when there will be no Hindu left in India. Despite this,
people would flock to visit the Sheikh and listen to his sermons. They would be enchanted and realized
that they should reform themselves in order to spend a good life in this world as well as the next. They
joined the ranks of his followers in the thousands. In this regard he established an Institution in
Ahmadabad, which was a center of Hindu fanaticism and called it “Dar Al Uloom” (Center of
Knowledge). This Institution is still flourishing in Ahmadabad. Thus, Hazrat Syed Mir Mohammad
Siddiq ‫ دحمت ا علے‬was successful by the Grace of Allah ‫ هسببلحاَنلهه لوتللعاَللىى‬where many learned scholars of
Islam had failed to take up the challenge.
Efforts for the Establishment of Pakistan:
When the Indian Congress and the All India Muslim League were pitched in electoral campaigns,
Hazrat Syed Mir Mohammad Siddiq ‫ دحمت ا علے‬issued articles in the Newspapers of Bombay such as
'Inqilab'; 'Khilafat' and 'Al Hillal' in favor of the Muslim League and urged his followers to vote for the
League along with their entire families and friends. He was very well aware of the deceit of the Hindus
and knew that they would leave no stone upturned to harm Islam and the Muslims in the Sub
Continent. He undertook whirlwind tours and spread the message of Pakistan in every nook and cranny
with the result that the Muslim League was successful and Pakistan came into being by the Grace of the
All Mighty.
In 1948, Syed Maulana Ahmad Saeed Kazmi participated in a A'alama Conference in Multan. Hazrat
Makhdum Maulana Nasir Jalali; Maulana Zahoor ul Hassan and Ala Hazrat Syed Mir Mohammad
Siddiq ‫ دحمت ا علے‬along with his eldest son and Khalifa Hazrat Rumi Shah ‫ دحمت ا علے‬participated
from Karachi. It was decided that a Political Party called Jameeiat A'alama e Pakistan should be
established and is so done immediately. Hazrat Abul Hassnat Sahib, Khateeb of Wazir Khan Mosque,
Lahore was appointed as President of the Party while Hazrat Syed Mir Mohammad Siddiq ‫دحمت ا علے‬
was apponted as Mentor for Sindh and Karachi. After deliberations and with the counsel of Makhdum
Maulana Nasir Jalali and Maulana Zahoor ul Hassan, it was decided that Hazrat Maulana Allama Abdul
Hamid Badayuni should be appointed as President for Sindh Province.

Construction of Memon Mosque:

A mosque was established in Boltan Market, Bundar Road, Karachi by the name of New Memon
Masjid. Ala Hazrat Syed Mir Mohammad Siddiq ‫ دحمت ا علے‬took part prominently in the
construction of the Mosque and told his followers to participate physically and financially in it's
construction. The construction of the Mosque came about in a strange manner. One day Ala Hazrat
Syed Mir Mohammad Siddiq ‫ دحمت ا علے‬was present in Tayyab and Musa Company in Chaglla
Street, Karachi. Seth Haji Ibraheem came in search of the Hazrat and stated that he wished that a
Mosque should be established in the ground next to the old graveyard situated in Boltan Market. The
Seth asked if the Shariat allowed the construction of a Mosque in an old Graveyard. Ala Hazrat ‫دحمت ا‬
‫ علے‬had obtained knowledge from Al Azhar University, Egypt and confirmed that such was the case
and that he would obtain the requisite Fatwas from other A'alama as well. He called Seth Mohammad
Chinoi and told him to associate himself with Seth Haji Ibraheem and construct the Mosque. The
faction of Maulana Mohammad Sadiq Khaddaywalay had occupied half of the land and they opposed
the construction of the Mosque. Despite being persuaded, they would not agree to the construction. Ala
Hazrat Syed Mir Mohammad Siddiq ‫ دحمت ا علے‬obtained a Fatwa that stated that any Graveyard more
than 100 years old and not being used as a Graveyard presently could be used to construct a Mosque
and told his followers to show it to the occupants, despite this they did not agree. On 15, July, 1949 (9
Ramzan ul Mubariq) Ala Hazrat Syed Mir Mohammad Siddiq ‫ دحمت ا علے‬along with Seth
Mohammad Chinoi, Secretary New Memon Masjid Committee and Haji Ibraheem, President of the
Committee as well as hundreds of his Murids and followers and the Police went to the Maidan and
gained possession. Ala Hazrat Syed Mir Mohammad Siddiq ‫ دحمت ا علے‬remained present all day long
and laid the foundations of the Mosque himself. Today this is one of the largest and most beautiful
Mosques of Karachi.

Mannerisms and Behavior:

Ala Hazrat Syed Mir Mohammad Siddiq ‫ دحمت ا علے‬, Qutb e Sindh, shone like a full moon on the
horizon of Sindh. Wherever he went a profuse wellspring of well being and contentment would arise.
He spread light and love every where, his assembly was the refuge of all those who were tormented and
turned thousands towards spirituality. He was extremely soft spoken and well mannered. If he was
going anywhere and came across anyone who turned towards him, he would remain in attendance until
that person himself would not request leave to depart no matter how long he was delayed, he never
took precedence in departing. If someone grasped his hand, he would not remove his hand until that
person himself would do so. He never showed anger or annoyance on his face in order to reassure his
interlocutors, if he saw anyone dejected or sad, he too would be sad. Allah ‫ هسببلحاَنلهه لوتللعاَللىى‬had Imparted
such sweetness in the Hazrat's speech that who ever once heard him would be entranced and would
long for further meetings and interaction. He was always deferential towards he elders and expressed
loving care for those younger than himself. Whomsoever came to his door would be served with food
and drink by Ala Hazrat himself. Whenever his family members or followers would ask him to allow
them to serve his guests he would reply that these guest are his and in accordance with the Sunnah of
the Holy Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬, he would serve them himself. No matter how an unbeliever would come to him,
he would take faith and arise with conviction. It was this and the fact that he spent his whole life in
accordance with the Holy Sunnah of the Blessed Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬that when he passed away from this world
he had over 1,25,000 followers all over the world. He was wont to treat everyone with the same respect
and love, no matter what so ever was his station in life or personal beliefs.

'Karamaat' (Lesser Miracles, Vouchsafed to Auliya Allah:

Syed Mohammad Ali Azhari wrote in his book on 4 January 1951 that during 1930 when he was a
student he was with Ala Hazrat Syed Mir Mohammad Siddiq ‫ دحمت ا علے‬in the Darbar of Hazrat
Ghareeb Nawaz ‫ دحمت ا علے‬. A blind man approached the Hazrat and said that he had heard about him
and desired that his sight was restored. Ala Hazrat placed his hand upon the blind man's eyes and his
sight was immediately restored.
A miracle in Ahmadabad, Gujrat, India.
Hazrat was residing in the Mehfil Khana where a Hindu devotee namely Sarsuti along with her 2 and a
half years old child named Deo, came to see him. Her son was playing on the roof when he suddenly
fell and died. The woman raised a hue and cry and exclaimed to the Hazrat, that she had come to see
him but little did she know that her son would die here. Ala Hazrat ‫ دحمت ا علے‬took his head cloth and
placed it on the child and sat down in 'Muraqaba' (Meditation). The woman's son revived but at the
same time the Hazrat's 2 and a half year old child, Syed Mir Mohammad, Zia ul Ambiya ‫دحمت ا علے‬
lost his life. The woman's child lived on to join the Sadhus and spent his life roaming in the Jungles.
Hazrat Maulana Jan Buksh Mohammad Behishti ‫ دحمت ا علے‬who resided in Drigh Road Cantonment
and stayed with the Hazrat for over 20 years, reported that while the Hazrat was employed as a Guard
in the Railways and his train was to leave for Ajmir Shareef. The Hazrat was getting ready when some
of his Murids came and told him that they had arranged a Mehfil e Samaa (Quwalli Session) for that
evening. At the appointed time he attended the Mehfil. Some people who were present were jealous of
the Hazrat and when they learnt that the Hazrat had not gone for duty and that his train had left,
reported the matter to the Rail Authorities. The Authorities inquired as to who was the Guard
accompanying the train. The train had already left the Station but on inquiry the Authorities were
assured that Ala Hazrat ‫ دحمت ا علے‬was on the Train. The jealous people were very confused as to
how the Hazrat could be present in two places at one and the same time and asked pardon from the
Hazrat ‫ دحمت ا علے‬.
Seth Mohammad Ishaq Kassab had a driver named Munshi Mohammad Hanif, both were habitual
drunkards. The Seth would spend his evenings in drink and attended Dance Halls where he and his
driver spent the entire night. One day Seth Sahib learned that Ala Hazrat Syed Mir Mohammad Siddiq
‫ دحمت ا علے‬had come to Karachi. He told Munshi Sahib that they should go and visit the Hazrat.
Accordingly, in a state of drunkeness they went to the Hazrat's residence. A Mehfil e Samaa was in
progress and Munshi Mohammad Hanif went and sat near Qibla Hazrat Sahib in a state of inebriation.
At that time a young boy was entranced and began the Sufi whirling. Munshi Sahib remarked that this
boy is a very good dancer. The Hazrat overheard these remarks and turned his attention towards
Munshi Sahib. As soon as he did so, Munshi Haneef Sahib went into ecstasy and started whirling.
During his act a bottle of whiskey fell from his pocket and shattered under his feet. The Munshi kept
dancing despite the fact that the shards of glass cut his feet. Finally he dropped unconscious on the
floor. When he revived he flung himself on the feet of the Hazrat and begged forgiveness. After this he
stopped drinking and joined the Silsila and accompanied Hazrat Sahib for many years.
Maulana Jan Mohammad Sahib stated that once the train was proceeding fro Dehli to Ajmir Shareef, at
a place called Falera Junction a Majzub (Demented in the Path of Allah ‫ )هسببلحاَنلهه لوتللعاَللىى‬used to reside in
the Railway Station. That day somehow the Majzub fell under the train and his leg was cut off above
the knee. The rail Authorities had him evacuated to hospital. Now when the driver of the Train tried to
proceed the Train would not start. The engine was replaced but still the Train would not move. When
Ala Hazrat Syed Mir Mohammad Siddiq ‫ دحمت ا علے‬came to know he approached the Rail
Authorities and asked them to bring the Majub from the Hospital and put him on the Train to take him
to Ajmer Shareef. Accordingly the Majzub was brought and the Hazrat said something to him. He then
had the Majzub embarked on the Train which finally proceeded to it's destination.
His Poetry:
Like other Sufi Saints, Ala Hazrat Syed Mir Mohammad Siddiq ‫ دحمت ا علے‬was also a Poet of some
renown. Initially, he wrote under the pen name of 'Sunam' but later changed to 'Qatil'. He attained fame
as a poet in and around Ajmer and during one 'Mushaira' (Poetical Gathering) he was awarded the Title
of 'Saif ul Kalaam' (Speech as sharp as a sword). When Qibla Hazrat Sahib ‫ دحمت ا علے‬was awarded
The Robe of Permission ('Khilafat') by his Pir O Murshid ‫ دحمت ا علے‬he said the following verses.

Hazrat Sahib was renowned for his 'Nisbati' Kalaam in praise of The Holy Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬and Hazrat
Mehboob e Subhani, Qutub e Rabbani Ghaus ul Azam ‫ دحمت ا علے‬and other venerated figures.

On 24 Rabbi ul Awwal, 1950, during the 'Urs' Ceremony of Hazrat Nabi Reza Khan ‫ دحمت ا علے‬, in a
gathering of his Khalifas and Murids announced that his son and Khalifa Akbar, Hazrat Syed Mir
Mohammad Reza ul Ambiya Al Maroof Rumi Luckhnavi will be his successor and the entire Silsila
should take guidance from him. Gatherings of Ala Hazrat's Murids were arranged in Hyderabad;
Mirpur Khaas; Tando Adam and Karachi to announce the 'Sajjadgi'.
Demise.
During November, 1950 Hazrat Sahib started declining in health and was considerably weakened.
Despite this he never let up on his spreading the message of Islam ('Tabligh'). During a visit to Quetta,
he fell sick and had to stay in Quetta for some time. Upon feelig better he left for Karachi. However,
after a few days rest he left for Tando Mohammad where he again succumbed to his illness. His sons
and relatives were called from Karachi and they arrived along with some Doctors who advised that he
should be shifted to Karachi and operated upon. Qibla Ala Hazrat Sahib ‫ دحمت ا علے‬fell unconscious
and was operated upon but failed to regain consciousness for 20 hours after the operation. Those who
visited him clearly heard the resonance of Kalima Tayyaba emanating from Hazrat Sahib's heart. After
this he uttered a loud cry of 'Allah ‫ ' هسببلحاَنلهه لوتللعاَللىى‬and passed away from this world, Inna Lillih hay wa
Inna alayhe Ra'ajoon (From Him have we come and Unto Him we are returning). As soon as the
Collector Karachi was ordered by Federal Minister Interior, Khwaja Shahabuddin to arrange for a place
to bury the Hazrat, arranged for a Plot in Eidgah Maidan, Bundar Road, Karachi adjoiing the Mazaar of
Hazrat Alam Shah ‫ دحمت ا علے‬. His funeral was lrgely attended by most of Pakistan's leading A'alama,
